Holy crap man, this is incredible! I can't believe how well your music gels with Sput's phrasing, which is partly a testament to how melodic his solos are. Sput obviously has a very vivid mental image of how his solos progress, and seeing this video with your added music shows just how powerful and articulate that mental image is. It's made me develop a whole new level of respect for drummers at his level, and how they really do hear so much more music in their heads than they play on the drums.

Thanks mate. Yeah Sput is insane, the whole solo is improvised which blows my mind because the ideas he comes up with while improvising feel all very connected to each other I think. A very musical solo. Glad you enjoyed the vid :)

bro, how do you determine the chord, sound, and type of music? then is the tempo stable? :D

Well it was sort of half based on the sort of music Sput makes, and then me just doing my own thing with it. I thought for this one I would do some nice jazzy chord changes and more synth and keys sounds, to make it slightly more like snarky puppy. But obviously I don't have a full horn section so I did my own thing with it. For other videos I made a click track but for this one I kept it loose.
