He would have grown up in the late 1890s/early 1900s (Considering that he was thirty-something years old when he died in 1933)…So…Yeah. Lotta prejudice towards black people at that time

Yes, there is a reason why he’s in hell but people aren’t born as villains, they were made into villains and what ever happened to Alastor in life that made him what he is.
@bloodymary940413 күн бұрын
I actually wondered if Alastor experienced racism in life when I found out he was mixed race and passed in 1933. Also him saying his face was made for radio sounds like something a racist would say because of Alastor’s skin being dark and Alastor says it now to reclaim the insult. I think it could be a good motivation for his villain story.

Ya know once you do the math (he died in his 30s in 1933) meaning when he was born the civil war (1865) and the battle for liberty place (1874) were still in living memory, so needless to say bigotry was rampant
@LousDubsАй бұрын
If he was 33 when he died, and he died in 1933, wouldn't he born in 1900?
@bloodymary940413 күн бұрын
@@LousDubsyes but, he still would of felt the after effects of racism. I was born in 1983. America had stopped fighting Vietnam in 1973 but, I remember when I was about 5 or 6 my white father saw someone he knew from school. He stopped to talk to them. The man also white looked at me and my Mom and said “Hey Buddy you were supposed to shoot those people, not marry them.” I imagine Alastor experienced the same if not worse. FYI my Dad punched the guy and broke his nose.
