Your background arts are insane too, Alatreon in space
@nwsiaki10 ай бұрын
It just seemed right, not sure why lol I was looking for images that mixed the elements, and a bunch of galaxy looking things came up. It reminds me of vintage fantasy art from the 70s or 80s. I thought it looked dope haha

Dare I say, this song almost sounds heroic. It reminds me of theories about Alatreon and Safi'Jiiva's rivalry: how Alatreon's elemental instability restores life to areas that Safi'jiiva has drained. The true Dawn's Triumph. Bravo.

every element gets its own little section in the song from what i've noticed. as others pointed out in specific points in the song a focus on specific instrruments is put on i.e chimes for ice seems to be accompaning the backround changes somewhat really nice.

I’m glad you enjoy it! It was fun near the end, but the process for this one was unfortunately gruelling for the most part. I couldn’t settle for anything, and then after days of work, I realized I didn’t like it, so I started over! 😅 I’m quite happy with the final product.

Alatreon is my favorite elder dragon from all across the series, and my favorite dragon in all of fiction, I wear an Alatreon pin on my winter jacket, I love your original composition. Fits very well with the theme of the series between the rustic and classical elements, as well as the segments dedicated to his different elemental powers.

Nathanaël, you’ve created once again another banger. These sound tracks are always such a treat to listen too. This may just be my perspective but you somehow manage to capture both the hunters struggle and might against this black dragon whilst still expressing the strength and intimidation you feel while facing Alatreon in combat. I’ll be looking forwards to your future compositions, especially Velkhana (or Fatalis maybe?) We gotta get this mans ost’s in a mod for mh! I want to use them in mhwi! Thanks for listening! I’ll soon be making a video showing what I use. However, as you said, there are many options and it can get technical (and expensive). I can offer a few tips for people trying to get into composition. Do you have musical training or experience? Some tools are more user friendly than others. The main tool you’ll need to start is a DAW. I use Logic Pro X. Some are free, with some restrictions.
@ohok456249 ай бұрын
@@nwsiaki I have no training no XD I've just always wanted to try and make something, but as you say it can get very expensive. I'm not good with tech either so it'll probably stay just a dream.
@nwsiaki9 ай бұрын
@ohok45624 there’s lots you could do, even if it’s just to dabble in it. Some tools are much more user friendly. If it’s your dream, start with a bit of research, invest the time before you invest too much money. Learning about music and how to compose can be interesting and fun too! Search “easiest DAW to use”, and then look up “how to get started with (name of the DAW you chose)”. I’ll do a few videos showing what I use and how I work. If you have an Apple product, they usually come with Garageband, which is what I started on. It comes with tons of instruments and presets you can use to have fun. You can select loops, drag and assemble them.

@@nwsiaki just a side note, I would LOVE a video showing your setup. I’m a drumkit/percussionist guy, but have mostly done session and live stuff without dabbling too much in the production side. @nwsiaki10 ай бұрын
Ok I swear I’ll make a video showing what I have! In the meantine: It’s primarily Symphobia 1 for strings and brass, Wotan/Freya/Rhodobe by Strezov for choirs, a few instruments are from the Kontakt and Logic libraries, and a variety for the percussion, including Dark Era by Tarilonte. The crwth (that medieval sounding bowed instrument) and flute are also from Dark Era.
@niallinpain88277 ай бұрын
I’m always so curious as to how you’d handle choir, is there a software for that or do you actually hire a choir???
@nwsiaki7 ай бұрын
Like instruments, there’s a whole market for sampling choirs or solo singers. They basically record choirs and through some engine, make what they recorded playable on a keyboard. The ones I used in this recording are Wotan male choir and Freya female choir by Strezov Sampling. www.strezov-sampling.com/products/view/WOTAN-Male-Choir.html www.strezov-sampling.com/products/view/FREYJA-Female-Choir.html

Hello! I’m not sure how putting stuff on Spotify really works as a creator so I understand if it’s not really feasible, but I’d love to add some of your music to my MH playlist cause it just gives off the MH vibe so well. Is it something you’re not really looking towards doing atm? Again I don’t really know how it works so I understand if not.

@nwsiaki9 ай бұрын
It depends on a few factors. If you contact me through my website we can work out the details. www.wsiakimusic.com/contact I could also compose new music for your series. Let’s talk!
@notdeus38346 ай бұрын
❤composition and instrumentation was brilliant but where this fell apart for me was the singing. The voices sound odd, kinda like they muffled? Maybe making them louder would fix the issue(if it's an issue in your opinion. I personally didn't like it. I'm obviously not a pro music critic). This theme, otherwise, is genuinely insane. Sounds like something you'd use to make alatreon the final boss of Iceborne - the blazing black dragon. Kinda sounds weird though. Almost like you encompassing elemental shifts? Maybe me watching the background caused me to feel this way lmao
@nwsiaki6 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing and listening! I compose the music before creating the background, and it was purposely composed to symbolize the element changes. Feel free to read the description of the video for more info on my process. Voices should be in the background a bit, but not muffled… I wanted them as one of the instruments, not a key feature. They (choirs) are not saying real words, so I thought it would distract if they were too loud. It’s mostly for texture.

I would like you to do something for me like if you have a theme song editor on Android I would like to create some themes like you but I use a cell phone and I'm not good at it if you have an app you can recommend to me, I could talk to you and you could give me tips while I do my theme like orchestral everything I should use I wanted to be like you it would be a dream and look at the other message I sent you if you see this one before the other it's about the favor I did for you
@nwsiaki9 ай бұрын
There are many apps, it depends what you want to do and how user friendly you want it to be. I would just research “music making apps for Android” or “apps like Garageband for Android” to start, “Free DAW for Android phone”. There is also Soundtrap which is an online, user friendly DAW. Just don’t forget to save your projects. Note: using any tool takes practice. Look at tutorials and have fun with the app, click on things to see what happens. Take the time to explore and try things.

finally after months it is here thanks to this monster and his original theme I discovered this wonderful saga thank you I was waiting for a long time now the next one is the banbaro right??? and then it's xeno'jiiva??? perhaps?? I hope so because he's another one I want to see and here's an idea on his theme you could kind of leave a bit of an alien vibe since the xeno'jiiva looks like a xenomorph even in the name xeno'jiiva I don't hope that It's going to be epic like my alatreon since he's a fucking black dragon but you can surprise me
@nwsiaki10 ай бұрын
I was struggling with this one quite a bit. It took me more time, partly because my ideas kept changing, but also because I wanted it longer. There was pressure Alatreon’s theme to be even bigger, and I missed my target a couple of times. But here it is! Hope you enjoy. I do have ideas for the others, and I agree about Xeno’jiiva having an alien sound. There’s gonna be some strange sounding instruments and synths for sure.
