Caesar's Beach (Albanian: Plazhi i Çezarit) is a beach in Palasë, Albania,[1] with a coastal resort and residences.[2] The beach is named for Julius Caesar's landing near Palaeste in what is now southern Albania during his invasion of Macedonia during the civil war in 48 BC. Its todays Palase and Dhermi beach. Julius Ceasar also fought a battle in Dyrrachum todays Durres vs Pompeii, wich he lost. U have to keep in mind that Albania was part of the Roman empire for a long time, some of its emperors were born here or had Ilyrian(now Albanians) heritage, like Constantine first the great ,and Justinian the first , etc ^^

Sadly, most foreign tourists don't do their research and they miss the best spots. You drove past Qeparo, Borsh, Orikum, Llogara national park, Jale beach, Llaman beach and didn't visit in Vlora the island of Sazan and Karabrun peninsula with amazing scenery beaches and is very quite. I have to point out that beach bar music stops strictly at midnight, but these places such as Ksamil, Marina Bay or Dhermi are attractions for foreign DJ and there are massive festivals during the summer which attracts thousands of young people from all over Europe. Is like going to Ibiza. Albania still remain a good value for the money I think hence we have so many people from Italy, France and Spain this summer. Many of these people point out that in Italy, France or Greece or even Croatia is like 10 euros for an ice cream and 50 euros for a bowl of pasta.

How much would your vacation cost to Greece , France or Italy? Maybe 5 times more to stay at 5 star hotels and beaches. Get real. Albania is beautiful and unspoiled. If you want quiet then go off season . Only thing I agree with the drivers are bit crazy , but aren’t they all in other countries.

As an Albanian I would say she’s given a very accurate portrayal of the country. It is very loud wherever you go, the service in most places is not great, the driving is unsafe and the prices are super expensive for the service and quality of food.

😀. Don't take it so personally. She didn't say that she doesn't like Albania; she just prefers Greece, Italy, and France more. The reason for her preference isn't because of the nature, since we all know that Albania is one of the most beautiful countries on the planet. It might be due to other reasons, like being afraid of fast driving or perhaps preferring fast food, which is more common in Greece, Italy, or France, over fresh, natural food. I believe that one day she will realize that she was blessed to have touched not just a piece of heaven, but also the oldest country on the planet, one that existed long before Greece, Italy, and France. So, don't take her honest opinion the wrong way.😊
@warrioryoutube52453 ай бұрын
This is the type of woman who will be 'mondan' and looks for it in every place she goes. It is not the problem of fast food, Albania is full of it. The problem is that there are some people who do not know how to be satisfied with the minimum things but they look for things in vain even though there are many things to enjoy.😉

@pernillewilby3 ай бұрын
I do believe the things I talk about are worth telling when I share my honest experience about my travels there. Of course Albania needs a lot more years getting use to tourism and that’s also what I’m highlighting by being honest because I think people should be aware of these things before going. As said the country is so beautiful and I bet it has so much more to offer than I experienced 🤍

Should have done research better Dhermi is a party place starts from June with the British throwing Parties and ends with the Italians in september. Borsh Beach or Qeparo Beach are similar to dhermi but more for Family and people who want peace and Quiet. Shame to spend all day in a pool when you have stunning beaches around that area. I would chose Albania any day before expensive Greece and Italy.

I have been to Italy and Greece many times and is super expensive even in very average beaches and restorants .. There is no way you can have fish unless you willing to pay over 100 euros per person and is farmed fish. But even things like a souvlaki in Greece you pay like 20 or 25 euros per portion compare to Albania 5-8 euros. In Italy they charge minimum 25 euros for a pizza or a bowl of pasta which is very poor compare to Albania where you can have a large pizza from 6 to 12 euros and the same for pasta. I don't know about France though but people tell me most French make their own sandwich from home when they go to the beach. They don't use restaurants or take away as it is expensive. I don't mean to be critical to these countries but this is the reality in Europe, cost of living is driving prices up and Albania although is not a cheap place still have some very reasonable prices for tourists in particular families.
