Lignon Hill pronounced as “Lin-yon”. Alam ko yan dahil nakatira kami malapit dyan - Barangay Cruzada. Noon kung gabi playground namin yong runway ng old Legazpi Airport - domestic airport na yata yan ngayon, not sure. Sarap magbike dyan sa runway dahil sementado.

Wow! Ganda ng old church. My wife is from sorsogon pero di pa namin napuntahan yan. Soon siguro, ang ganda pala dyan. Binisita ko na yung old chuch mo, wag mo kalimutan pasalubong ko. Thank! more travel and vids.

Hindi ko na recognize ang aking school - Bicol University! Ang laki na ng pinagbago at talagang malaki na Ang dami ng nabago - Governor’s Off building, Peñaranda Park, etc. Walang Meuseo de Legazpi noon - very worthy addition to showcase Legazpi City Culture & Albay(Bicol?) in general. Hindi ko nakita yong San Rafael Church (Basilica of San Rafael) in front of Peñaranda Park, unless nilipat yong Peñaranda Park(?) - pero bakit gagawin yon. Yong Albay High School ay before the old Bicol U building - bilis ng vid. My fondest school memories were my high school & college years kahit na NAPAKA STRICT ng mga teachers namin pero oklang dahil we know they were after our own welfare. Yong mga instructors, professors namin sa BU KARAMIHAN sa kanila May doctorate degree sa University of Illinois as Fulbright scholars. Naalala ko hindi sila basta2 tumatanggap ng term papers kung hindi tama ang footnotes, spacing sa margin. Talagang gapang kami dyan pero more than WORTH lahat ng hirap namin! Those were the days when life was simple, happy with whatever we have & not much to complain about - we were all sailing in the same boat!
