Congrats.My husband is also from IITD, 1977 batch, 0:12 and our memories of the campus got refreshed. The computer Center those days had IBM 1400 mainframe, and it was air conditioned. In summer months, there was Q to write one’s program, even as late as 11.00 pm. You brought out vividly the aspirations, and Life at IITD. The Hindi Samiti organised good Plays at Seminar Hall at week ends, with Students playing the Characters in the play.Even Now the Alumni can enjoy the same. Congrats once again.😊

13:07 - Ara! Ara ka enthu high hai. lol USA aane ke baad ek baar gaya tha. It was such an intense feeling. I almost ran through the campus - from the hostel gate to the Main Building. Fir sitting in Wind Tunnel (it was a warmer day), sipping water from a bottle - sab dost yaad aaye. Ab jaunga to bahut nostalgia hoga.

Feel nice to refresh old memories. old batch M.Tech 1971. The new convocation hall was constructed in 1971 and we were first batch to receive our. We stayed in Vindhyachal hostel. During that time IIT Delhi Gliding club was formed. For the training we had to go at Safdarjung Airport. Also evening or late-night we had Panditji ka Paratha when we missed hostel dinner.
