Albert King playing a Freddie King classic Hideaway. Funny hearing how he changes the song to his own style.

If it wasn't for Albert King, there wouldn't have been so many Great guitarist throughout history.

There are SO Many great guitar players that have come and gone too early. But none, have left an impression on everyone else as much as "a small few"! You are absolutely right, FK, BBK were "guitar Heros"!! They just didn't have "that recognizable signature lead patterns" that AK had! All future guitar players are after "Thee signature lead patterns"! That just just stand out, and, I love FK, and BBK, theirs are just not as recognizable as AK's was!@@williamwalker-bm5mz

@@williamwalker-bm5mz Stevie Ray Vaughan was great, but he took Albert’s ideas to their limit. Since then, we have been inundated with SRV clones.

Thank God Jimi Hendrix taught Albert, Buddy and Ike how to play the Blues!

@@knifelyfe6565 I'm not sure that Albert King was a major influence on Buddy Guy. Buddy is influenced by John Lee Hooker, Lightin' Hopkins, BB King, Muddy Waters, and Guitar Slim.

Stevie Ray Vaughan along with Albert King will forever be my favorite players of all time. Most people think it's easy to play like King but I can tell you it will take serious practise to be able to bend every note like that.

Hey Marcell, this is actually Albert King's own song called Overall Junction. Look it up. He does allude to Freddie King's Hideaway for the first two verses and then goes into his own very similar composition with the same horn riffs as Hideaway.

Yeah, I'm an old timer, and in our selection for guitarists, it would be the three Kings and Albert "Ice Man" Collins.

Didn't know Albert King also played Hide Away. Definitely sounds like him. Any idea where, when he played this? It's not on the 2002 album Albert King/Freddie King "Blue On Blues" which I have. Perhaps a bootleg?

With Albert's weird tuning, he did his best. Not much of Freddie's original is there.
