Love Albert Lee, a genuine, modest genius. I guess there’s no saying why a player bonds with an instrument but for what it’s worth I think the Tele has a more balanced, less brittle tone than the Music Man, but hey, AL could make chicken wire on a tin drum sound awesome.

I saw him at jazz alley in Seattle. After the show i got his autograph. I was so shook up i couldn’t speak. He s been my favorite since I heard him on emmylou s record in the 70 s
