Had to check......"Runaway Train" was written by a guy named John Stewart, turns out he's the same guy who wrote the Monkee's hit "Daydream Believer". Albert does a great cover! Always a treat to see him. Thanks Norm for posting

I have been a fan of Alert's since the early 70's! One of my earliest influences on guitar. Got to meet Albert at a NAMM show in Nashville years ago. A super kind gentleman that answered a lot of questions for me about playing his style. I learned a lot from a master picker that day. Jam on Albert!

I've met Albert 2x. Really one of the nicest people in this business. When the British invasion was happening everyone else was heading to NY or LA. Albert hit Nashville, he deserves a lot more credit and respect for following his own path.

I remember when he played in the Quasimodo Berlin, and after the gig he sat down with his band member on a bar table, had a glas of wine and talked to us people. I absoloutly love him, and his playing is out of this world.

I'm worried about you I'm worried about me The curves around midnight Aren't easy to see Flashing red warnings Unseen in the rain This thing has turned into A runaway train Long distance phone calls A voice on the line Electric miles That soften the time The dynamite too Is hooked on the wire And so are the rails Of American Flyers Blind boys and gamblers They invented the blues Will pay up in blood When this marker comes due To try and get off now It's about as insane As those who wave lanterns At runaway trains Steel rails and hard lives Are always in twos I have been here before this And now it's with you I'm worried about you I'm worried about me We're lightning the fuses And counting to three And what are the choices For those who remain The sign of the cross On a runaway train This thing has turned into A runaway train This thing has turned into A runaway train Our love has turned into A runaway train

I've never heard Albert sing before. He should do it more often, it was GREAT. And his mic should be a bit louder.

Agreed! He's proper! Real unassuming like all the English blues greats. Even Clapton being one of the last, very unassuming..
