I think what was done in Alberta protects kids more than what the Liberal way of doing things does. When human beings are young, they are VERY easily manipulated, and sometimes make very irrational decisions. What Daniele Smith did, was she added an extra level of pause before these kids can make a life altering mistake. When these kids mature into adulthood, they can do whatever they want, but they should not be able to make these changes when they are children.
