I love that you teach line-by-line! I started attending a Calvary Chapel in Tucson for just that reason and I would never go back. Blessing to you!

I have listened to several explanations of this chapter. I waited for context and the speaker delivered. I will re read and ask Abba Father for further insights. You said: 'Bernie Madoff made off with a lot of money... hahaha😆😂 that made me laugh out loud.

God wants to play. But you're trying to relax, and busy trying to make your dreams come true, so you see the play, when it starts to happen in your day, as no fun, as a nuisance, or even as a very serious issue which is worthy of a somber will and heavy slumbering slowed down heart.

Paying close attention is you paying. A horse has blinders on his eyes and is stuck paying attention to what is ahead, unable to see the trouble coming from behind or the side. There are going to be flaws in everything till the day you die. So working to locate them means you'll be seeing flaws all the time, like a paranoid who thinks everybody is out to get him and running down the empty street naked saying the enemy is all around him and has him surrounded.

The adult mind is clear, looking outward, not in dreamland and fantasy world, fractured in pieces, shaky, broken apart, frail and ailing, heavy and hard, but is light, not clouded and confused like a dummy's mind, but is easy to manage, like the mind of a child.

I think jesus said, "possess your soul," and, "don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing," and "love up covers sin," and "If your conscience condemns your soul, god is greater than your conscience and knows all things, not just some," and paul said, "I don't judge myself," and "martha, you are busy about many things but mary sat", and "sit at my right hand," and the wicked are restless," and "they will not enter my rest." And also says, "I know myself as much as one looking in a dirty blurry mirror can see himself."

The pain is there after the contact of the bat on the kneecap has ended. So it is not the contact that is causing the pain. And contact is not pain. You don't have a piece of pain lodge in your skin you have to dig out. Pain isn't an organ in your torso. The pain is not a liquidy substance secreted by the gland; that's a material, not a pain. The pain is invisible, and coming from an invisible, a secret. If you can distract the unseen one who is sending it when the contact takes place, he'll be too busy and not focusing on the spot to send it to, he'll be thinking about a tree, or person, or cross, or better yet, he'll be looking, instead of having a thought, particularly a thought of the spot on the body that was hit, get in his line of sight. But at that moment he won't be focused on another part of him, such as his finger, and thus won't be able to move his thumb or wiggle his toes, unless he is focused on being as one who is not working his pinky when he is flexing and bending it. If pain is a signal sent by the mind, then a distracted mind will be too busy thinking about nothing, or about something besides the body part that was hit, to think about the part he has to send the pain to, and will lose track of what he is doing, and himself, and not get the job done or take care of usual business. And it would matter how you think about the thing. You can think about a person or situation and your forehead crinkle up like you are in slight pain. Your emotions can make your eyes squint. When you squint you can feel the pressure, the slight, and first signs of, pain. You can be two hundred pounds and healthy and feel as light as a feather compared to when you are only one hundred pounds and sick and feel real heavy, as if you are still two hundred pounds. A sick person feels heavier at a lighter weight than he felt when he was a heavier weight and healthy.

Trying to get the best seats in the house for just a single major sporting event, which only lasts for a few hours, is difficult enough. So imagine what sort of delusion a mind must be set under, and entranced by, to make getting the best seats at the biggest show ever by far, life, its goal, and not just for an hour or two, or just one time, but to get them throughout its whole life at every moment. It would have to be a miracle, and not that mind's own plans, or stringent, strenuous, unyielding, unrelenting efforts, that got him those seats in the game of life.

His insanity is hard at work. It has no lunch breaks. It never takes a day off. He wants to keep his sanity. He wants it to stay where it is and not go running off and start racing around and moving out of place. When you see your neat bedroom staying in place, you say, "Ah, peace and serenity." When you see it moving and circling and bouncing and twisting around in the twirl of the tornado, you say, "This is insane."

When he is sane you say he is stable. When he is insane you say he is unstable. A stable thing is staying still, the unstable thing is shaky, on the go, a real go getter.
@JosephAJester
@JosephAJester 11 ай бұрын
An insane person isn't in control of himself. He has to move even when he doesn't want to and decides not to. He can't sit still. His mind is not at rest, blank like in dead sleep, but is at work, not resting on a thought, but going down a track, a train of thought.

If you pick up a thing with your senses then you have experienced it and are aware of it, conscious of it. Have you ever been conscious of you unconsciousness when you were asleep or knocked out, and were conscious when you were unconscious, or has no man ever experienced unconsciousness, or is unconsciousness a man and experiencing you? When you're not conscious of an answer to a question, you are conscious of your unconsciousness of it, so you are conscious when unconscious.

You working is faith, because you don't know if you will get what you want from the work. So faith is work. Holding a thought in the mind happens in the mind. So it is not physical, but faith. And it is hard work. Thus it is faith that is work.

Don't free your mind, opening it wide like a prison cell door, narrow it down into a cramp space, into one specific life matters, and not all them. Repeat the chant; be repetitive. Sitting around a patient all day in an insane asylum who is repeating four syllables is a great time. Doing so is a girls night out on the town, so desired, it's letting your hair down, not a burdensome job. You want to go to work and hear the four syllables repeated. Then you want to go to the market and hear those four syllables repeated again. And you want to get home and hear so much more those four. Also you want to go on your vacation and hear it all day from all the vacationers and repeating in your head like your mind is stuck. Don't worry, you'll get to turn on the screens, and go to school, and to the doctors and not miss out on it for a second. It won't look like a twilight zone episode where all the citizens minds have been taken over.

We're all plotting on the blacks. That's what's making the world go the way it is. It's not money that makes the world go round, it's the plot. People don't do what they do to get health, cash, comfort and sex. They do it to hurt the blacks. They're not doing what they do all day to get loot, love, long life and a leisurely life, they do it to get everyone to act like christ, who acted like he didn't care what people think.

One country eats pasta, smokes, and gets in dangerous cars and has dirty air, and has good old world type fellas who get up into their 60's and 70's, and another land has no dangerous vehicles, does not smoke, has a clean sky, and eats natural food found out in the wild, and has tribal elders reaching 60 and 70. I figure if the tribe is living like they did one hundred thousand years ago and dying at fifty or 60, then the futuristic modern guys living 100,000 years later, with that much advancement having taken place, should be living, on average, to about 165 or two or 300, maybe 500, or 1000.

Your wakefulness fades into your sleep, and in your sleep you got stages, the rem stage, etc., and thus stages are natural, in the real world. So being awake has stages of awareness too, and not just one degree of consciousness and normal experience, and like you have a dream and no dream in your sleep, you have a life and no life, an existence and no existence, an awareness and no awareness, while wide awake also. Wakefulness fades into a stage of sleep, and that stage fades into a stage, so it is stages that fade into stages, and therefore since wakefulness fades into a stage, wakefulness is a stage, and since stages fade out of stages that are in the same realm as them, then in the realm of wakefulness, that stage of wakefulness that fades into the first sleep stage, faded out of another stage of wakefulness. So sometimes when you're awake you have no existence, and as you are aware you are not alive, and sometimes while you are awake you have no past.

Play is harder work than work. You don't survive by, or get paid for, playing, so it is harder for you to do than your job is. If you play you are not doing what you need to survive, and so play is deadly and takes discipline and internal fortitude. So it takes more power and strength to work up the unction or gumption to play. You need more drive, more motive, to play than you need to work. It's not for the faint hearted, and just like useless non-activity such as thinking, it is not for the weak minded. Thus you use up more energy undertaking in it. So it is more difficult for you and on you. But you automatically survive. You were born surviving, so it's not a choice. You were born that way. Your bladder knows to the do the job of emptying out so you live on with no effort on your part, just as your heart and breathing get the job done with not much notice from and by you. If he plays all day and plays with his food with his tongue and makes swallowing it into some timing game will he be taking himself out and he must be stopped for the children's sake?

The real me don't talk. Talking is an effort of mine, work, not my natural way, but a put on, an act, not being, not how I was born, not a function of the body or the stars, but artificial, of the imagination, art, from in my mind, not from in time. I wasn't born walking; it's not my natural way, it's a choice, in my mind, a spiritual way, like building ships.

My thoughts work me up until my eye is twitching. It might be me working them up that is making the eye twitch. It might be me raging that I can't find anybody with much desire more than a babbling baby, barking dogs, madmen, machines, or the dead, to communicate. The sleeping? Those in a coma? The boxer unconscious in the middle of the ring? The mentally handicap kid? Guards in the prisoner of war camp keep the imprisoned from communicating with one another in order that they don't get together and better their lot in life. I even laugh at my eye lid twitching like a twerking stripper.

Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did NOT die, he was a second father. He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms. His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him. He had no further intercourse with Spirits, but lived upon the Total Abstinence Principle, ever afterwards; and it was always said of him, that he knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge. - (I didn't say I wrote that, but I didn't say I didn't. You'll have to look it up for yourself. Me not saying who did could be me saying I did. The idea of a scrooge knowing how to keep christmas better than anyone came to mind and made me laugh, so I thought I'd post that, and then by the time I got to the pdf plans changed and I copied and pasted even more than I intended, It's that or spending my time resting in misery).

Jesus said whoever swears by the altar swears by the altar, and the next line he says whoever swears by the temple swears by the temple. Then in the third line he starts off saying whoever swears by heaven. So the mind expects him to say whoever swears by heaven swears by heaven. But he says whoever swears by heaven swears by the throne of god.

Why aren't all the people who won the spelling b's the billionaires, but instead the billionaires are the one's that have ancient pagan symbols that had to do with casting spells on people as their corporations logo? Why aren't all the kids who won their school's science fair the billionaires? The snake charmer uses the music from the magical flute to control the serpent. If you don't know the future, how can you reason? Aren't you reasoning based on what will happen, on the bad that you must reason your way out of, or good you must reason to get? If your reasoning is based on the bad in the past, then your base, your root, is bad, and your stem, your reasoning, has a bad root, and isn't going to last, for if the root goes then the stem, and the whole plant, is diseased and doomed and damned too. Reasoning comes from the reasonable. It's not crazy. So it's not stuck going in circles back to the reasonable. Hence, reasoning does not lead to the reasonable. If reasoning leads to the reasonable, then it comes from the unreasonable, and is unreasonable, not what the reasonable would do. Death, suffering and loss exists. Therefore they are reasonable, not mythical, and reasoning leads, is the path, not the destination, to the reasonable, to death, suffering and loss, and is not the reasonable, since that's the destination and not the path, the road, the narrow way, the straight gaping gate. Death, suffering and loss have no sense of things. So they are senseless, the mythical. If you don't know the future, how can you reason? Aren't you reasoning based on what will happen, on what you don't know yet, and therefore you don't even know what your reasoning is based on? If your building is founded on shifting sands expect your building to come down and crumble into sand. If your building is founded on a bad foundation, the bad in the past, your building, you're reasoning, will be unsafe and not sturdy, and falling easier, or quicker, than one built on a good rock solid foundation.
@JosephAJester
@JosephAJester 11 ай бұрын
If reasoning didn't always exist, then its resting on the nothing it came from, that's its base, it's beginning, the foundation it lays upon. Something resting on nothing falls. There is nothing holding it up. It comes and rises up not from something, such as good reason, and superb reasoning.
@JosephAJester

Did sane, sound, smart reason come from nothing? Is it resting upon nothing and is dropping and not holding up?

Or is sane, sound, smart reason stable, and is the foundation which your reason and reasoning and reasonableness, and whichever other reason you got, has as its footing, and is not falling from not being to being to not being to being?

If a man cannot do two opposing things at once, then he can't be in two different places at the same time, and thus cannot be a man, the mind, separate from a man, the body, and therefore all his ails that are from the physical world are from the mental land. Is he a miracle in a mirror? If a hard or pointy object can strike and poke a dead body roughly as well as sharply, and that body not feel pain, then obviously objects striking objects is not where pain comes from and what causes pain.

The tiny air-borne sickness gets in the dead body, and the body doesn't get a head ache and stomach ache, so it can't be the thing in the air that makes things sick, and hence that little thing isn't the sickness.

They think you are crazy if you are giddy and visibly playful like a joyous child. So you get real stiff lest they look at you wide-eyed like a lunatic mind's eyes. And that keeping up that stiffness is eating you alive inside and driving you crazy fast, making you empty and die inside. You can be not moving but dying. So dying isn't an action. And you're not pressing up against your dying. It's not clothes you are putting on and taking off. Dying is a living being. You are dying. And you're healthy. So dying is healthy. And you are dreaming. Thus, dying dreams.

Isn't trying to accomplish goals trying to make dreams come true? Isn't trying to make dreams come true unadult-like? Is life a dream factory? Do dreams come true in disney land or in factories? Am I a dream come true, a nightmarish monster made in a factory, or a science project? Is saying, "I want to make my dream come true," sound like a serious adult talking, or like a child? Is making dreams come true education, or play, or a 9 to 5 that sucks? Get serious here buddy, stop goofing off, we ain't got time for games, we're making dreams come true. Go home with the women and children and try to make science and math come true with them if you can't tough it out with the big boys. Is making dreams come true making life come true, or is life, the science, math and logic, already true, and accomplishing goals is not making them true but making games and play and fantasy become true?

If avoiding reality is a real thing, then it is reality, so why avoid it? If words are man made, then they are not reality, and in that case, ayn rand's focusing on her words, her thinking or saying "don't avoid reality," is her avoiding reality. I can only be avoiding air by not being in it. You can only avoid reality by not being in it. If consequences are real, then they are reality. So if you can avoid reality you can avoid consequences. If avoiding reality isn't reality, then it is imaginary, and if reality, not superman, causes things, results, consequences. then avoiding reality cannot cause anything, any consequences. Reality is dangerous, hellish, religious, not safe, logic and enlightenment. Reality is messy, foolish, an idiot, christianity, not neat and stable and smart, math.
