Under a monarchy she can be rightly named as a leader. She still maintains a lot of power and prestige and from what I know she was highly regarded by her subjects. In America it it totally different. We the people are the leaders, not the people we send to the state houses or Washington. We have allowed those politicians to reverse the role and be named and held up as our leaders. In doing so we have allowed our central government to get stronger and our state governments to get weaker. I need to honor them in the way I honor all the people. But I recognize, or should at least, my fellow citizen much more. Pray that we will send the best people to represent us and at the same time hold them accountable to the fullest extent.
