This is guaguanco from Cuba. The rumba from Cuba is a sensual and slow pace dance. The slow and sensual dance is the rumba that I know from over 70 years.

La rumba oh el guaguanco

La Rumba es el nombre General del "Complejo" del Genero de la Rumba que está compuesta por varias variantes, cada variante de la Rumba tiene sus propias especificaciones tanto en su toque, la forma de cantarla y la forma de bailarla, entre estas variantes están el "Yambú" que es el más antiguo, la Columbia (bailada mayormente solo por hombres) la Jiribilla y el Guaguancó, en esta clase se está enseñando especificamente a bailar "Guaguancó" que es en la única variante que se hace el "vacunao". Espero haber aclarado tu pregunta.

As you know, a lot of timba uses guaguancó clave. They could use it when applicable in a song like that. My teacher in Havana was trying to get me to do it (in very small flourishes during a break or after a vacilala for a bar or two), but my whiteness was to much for her.

@@waxak100 Asi es. Del mismo modo que los americanos no bailan tap! El tapes americano, pero no es un baile masivamente practicado. Los americanos comen hamburguesas? Si, es algo consumido masivamente. Los Cubanos bailan rumba? No solo un grupo reducido de bailarines, la rumba no es un baile popular por muchas razones. Su origen marginal, hostil y sexista no es una buena propuesta cultural para la ciudadania.
