Fascinating. The song itself, one of my favourites from Painkiller. The atmosphere they create while playing. All the band members are not only playing, but living the music with enthusiasm. I especially like how KK's behaving with dignity, giving AJ the chance to be in the spotlight! Yeah, KK's a mature artist who has nothing to prove but it's really nice to see this kind of behaviour: not stealing all the glory just because he's "The" KK Downing. Big thank you for sharing, again!

Glory....WHAAT! If they had to play painkiller right here they would all look stupid. You think Downing would be doing that solo? If they had painkiller in the short set for the Grammys Kenny would have melted like the wicked witch of the west while faulkner dazzled the slobbering onlookers in the crowd.

@@michaelbackhus1923 Bad comment there... " KK would have melted"?? ...no, he would have played the end solo of Painkiller like always with style.

Does anyone here know the Priest story? Read Ken and Robs books. Halford tipton and downing wrote all the priest songs, Ken owns the rights to the music catalog, since he was the founder of Judas Priest 68-69 while playing in the earlier form of Priest with Ian Hill. Ian Hill’s wife Mary (since divorced), was Robs sister. He joined Priest in 72-73. Record label told them the sound would be cleaner with a 2nd guitarist, enter Tipton in 74.

Hmmm...yes I have now listened to them. Not impressed. It appears they are still using the template first heard on Paikiller only with zero added creativity. Not to mention the lyrics...together still rhymes only with forever etc. Superhuman beings who live in space animated by some vengeful force (also inspired by Painkiller), sons of the Sentinel...what's next I wonder, children of the Metal Gods? I have been a JP fan since 1979 but there are only so many times you can recycle the same stuff before it becomes a parody of the original.
