I wonder how old Bastian is supposed tp be. I was thinking fourteen or fifthteen. Jack black is so weird and funny in this. It may not be a "good" movie, but its very enjoyable. Its a little like if they took the script for the orignal neverending story and took an almost lethel amount of cocaine and rewrote it. Very enjoyable.

@EGLchan Maybe the way how Engywook and Urgl knows Bastain was when Bastian was reading the story on the first film of Attreyu going on a quest to find a cure for the Empress where Bastian was also reading about Attreyu was also going on a quest to stop "The Nothing" from destroying Fantasia. Engywook and Urgl must have known who was reading, especially at the end, the Empress told Attreyu that Bastian is the only one who has the power to save Fantasia by calling out the Empress's name.
