Really enjoyed Luis and Chris on this show thanks Pete. I can easily say if I like or dislike an album, but it’s a real art being able to communicate a deeper description of something that not only makes sense but is interesting for the viewer. Nice one all.

Awesome stuff. Just found YS on Spotify. Sounds promising. I have had Stunt Rock for ages as an extra on my Man From Hong Kong blu. Definitely gonna check it out soon. Chris - Osanna are an awesome 70s Italian prog band. They scored Milano Calibro 9 which is a superb crime flick I would recommend to anyone on this channel! 🤟

This was spectacular! Stunt Rock might as well be a Fellini or Orson Wells lost masterpiece. The trailer alone is awesome. Can’t wait to listen to both albums.

Il Balletto di Bronzo has released at least 6 albums. One in 1969, one in 1970, one in 1972, one in 1997/1999, one in 2016, and a bootleg in 2020. The lead singer is 68 years old. I'd also recommend Antonio Bartoccetti/Antonius Rex/Invisible Force/Jacula. Big time spooky music that could have easily been done for horror movie soundtracks.

Luis picked the *perfect prog album* for horror fans! :-) Giallo prog-- I love it! Chris might also like Il Balletto di Bronzo's first album, "Sirio 2222," which is in a *very different* style-- guitar-heavy, pounding, early '70s hard rock! I *love* that album, but some prog fans hate it for not being prog. In addition to the first two albums, Di Bronzo also recorded a later reunion album with the first album's line-up.

Will be a fun and insightful episode. Wondering if Luis will give Chris a long, epic-filled Italian Prog classic album from either PFM or Banco or an Italian band closer (imho) to Chris’ heart like Goblin. God forbid if Luis gives him a Magma album lol!
@mvjonsson3 жыл бұрын
Yes, YS is a great Italian progrock classic. I think Chris would enjoy the Slovenian/Italian band Devil Doll as well. Very theatrical gothic prog.
@lahloonatic3 жыл бұрын
I considered that one too, believe it or not - Dies Irae was the album, but thought YS was better. I didn't want to just give him something he would hate. It would be entertaining for us to rip on something, but for me at least, the best aspect of this channel is the discovery of good stuff. That can also include friendly warnings, but still...
@mvjonsson3 жыл бұрын
@@lahloonatic I personally think the three first albums are much better. Dies Irae was a bit hit and miss for me. The Girl who was Death might be a good pick to start.
