Great video! i think i mostly agree with you on this one, a few less ballads would have been better. as far as the length of the album, i love longer albums but im not the kind of person that listens to an entire album all at once. i think he did a great job on "Thats The Way Love Goes", but if i were in the mood to just listen to that specific song i would of course go with Merles version. i dont mind the "modern" production, it doesnt have to sound exactly like the 90s. im a simple guy, give me some fiddle, steel guitar, a bit of mandolin and a TRUE relatable story.

I think this is a contender for country album of the year. No poor songs, there are a lot of ballads but i am fine with that. Alan`s vocals are as good as ever and production is very good. This album has been a long time coming and is traditional country at its finest. I can picture george strait in his easy chair with a cold beer enjoying this with a huge smile on his face..
