Just came back to the game, tried this dungeon, and group carried me. The last boss is harder than some raid bosses in other MMOs I've played if you're like me and have no idea what you're doing, I love it.

Good, accurate, and descriptive guide Alcast. HM fight has quite a few bugs yet that were reported in PTS but still made it to Live. Dev stream confirmed them, and mentioned a fix Monday. I don't suggest anyone attempt it till after patch, is rage inducing if going for achievements.

Thanks. Ye those bugs are unfortunate. I really wish ZOS would be faster with bug fixing. So when a DLC releases it actually can represent GOOD quality rather than being a buggy mess (with stuff that was reported PTS week 1)

Alcast i Think you forgot that in the fight with the 10million HP Dude if you stand in the circle your npc Made you do way more damage ...i as a Tank didlike 12k HA so the 10 Million HP drop a bit faster if you drop your ulties then

Volker Hagen when the ESO devs did the vet HM live play-through on twitch, they didn't remain in the circle. I watched for it specifically. So I kinda doubt that there's any effect but the cleanse.

what he is fken hard to understand I quote "from the melee boss you will get hit by a weird AOE" What weird AOE? Every AOE has a name in game So I do not know what I am getting hit with. Where is that bearded dude I used to watch.

If anyones still having trouble with zaan, stay close to the statues when he's about to do the RNG mechanic (the insta kill) on the final phase. This piece of advice helped me alot doing my first run, it makes it easier to predict which statue and there's less space between the statue's cone AoE that way.

Finally after all these years I finished this for the first time and even got my helmet in light. I will change the trait and never step into this dungeon ever again. Unless I have to.

thank you for this guide someone wanted to run this challenge stuff in dragons bones in my guild and she ended up buying the dlc and gifting it to me tried today got 2 out of 4 challenges done were stuck on no death and HM atm this should help for HM alot

Last I checked those ice holes on matriarch were brought in by the adds if they weren't killed fast enough. Didn't come across any when they got burned out. So, in all technicality they can be completely avoided all together unless nuking.

Thanks! Ye its hard to find a group, I recommend finding a guild that is set up to do dungeons, will make it a lot easier and you will have same people more consistently

I think the posion from statues is shooted after Zaan do one oh her mechanics (flame breath, beam, dawnbreaker). We managed to do this that whole group was staying in the line between left (right) and middle statue so you have time to react and also cage mechanic is easier to block. However sometimes even if we used the mechanics (nerieth or shield) correctly we died so i think its kinda buggy. If these bugs will be solved, it is very nice challenging HM and also "tick-tock tormentor" version for dungs is great idea.

Advise for next videos: Do spesific achievement videos, not simply no death-hardmode stuff. Stuff like “kill velidreth without using light” or “dont detect eyes on Imperial city” or “dont get hit by flying flames on gatchabar* boss”. I have done these, just suggesting stuff for you to make videos :P finding stuff for videos is kinda hard i guess

The full dungeon with Non Hardmode is completeable. I definitely would give it a go. Hardmode on the other hand is quite difficult.

@@Alcasthq Normal is easy, even with a half assed PUG. On vet you must get a good group or you just won't have a chance.

This dungeon is the fking bane of my existence. I'm after the healer set, but I tend to pug as I don't care for joining guilds. Pugging this dungeon is a major pita. Haven't got past the 1st boss on ez mode yet. :******(
