I have the Alcatel GoFlip 3, do you know if it can be used as a modem for my laptop?

I found the tips for entering special characters (around 2:00) helpful. I think they should have made a short-cut for inserting a capital letter in the middle of the sentence though. For example, the first letter of a name. It takes too much time to go to the # symbol and then find the AB. It's awkward. I think they should have a better keyboard. I've just changed to this one from a Blackberry because they're phasing my model out. Too bad for me because it's got a great keyboard.

When I scan for available networks on my alcatel "my flip 2", it responds by saying that "there are no available networks". What should I do?

I went thru the steps fine....it says it's connected, but, when I get to that part, a box don't drop down to let me type in websites, such as my Yahoo mail.

I have an Alcatel Onetouch model 1042X. How do I connect to wifi? How do I register on here? How do I reset the phone? How do I find my default pin password for free? It's an old phone given by my mum. (Btw, there's a SIM card in here)

i am in similar situation i got my phone from a family member who passed i factory reset it which should have wiped everything but it still has their phone wifi etc. it wont let me add my wifi how do i get it to work. i am not going to add it to my tracfone account my son just wants to watch youtube on it so i need the wifi

The problem this phone has is when I leave the saved network and come back, I have to retype the password over again. It won't save them.

Try removing your SIM card for a Wifi call. I don't know if it will work on these phones or not, probably not, can't hurt to try. I know you can put Google Voice on an old smartphone and make it a Wifi phone, without a SIM card. Not an option here.
