With the four chicks frolicking hither and yon, their appearance on camera is lessening. Luckily, they are still gathering to sleep together and on this evening, Larry’s mate brought the last snack of the day.

The Alcatraz nest is very different from the posh digs where Larry was raised. Yet she seems quite at home with her mate and 4 chicks. Nice to get a glimpse of Dad. I really appreciate the opportunity to see this nest and hear the very loud squawks of the youngsters bouncing off the rock walls. Even with the rocky terrain, they manage to stay cozy. Thank you for showing us how the Alcatraz Fab Four are doing, SKH.

“Cuddling” on rocks like they’ve got in that nest demands relying on siblings’ bodies to get comfy, I’m sure! Every once in awhile I think one is missing from this Fab Four, and then I realize how well the “missing” one has blended in with the back wall. Whew! Thanks for the family-time video, SK - catching Dad was a real treat! ♥️

Tysvm SK 🤗 These four are just too adorable 😍💕 I can't believe how fast they have grown 😳🤭 Larry obviously remembers the way her mum looked after her and is following in her footsteps ☺️ I will miss the "fab four" when they leave to find their own territories and have their own families 🌹💕 I wish each of them safety, good health and every success in their precious lives 🤗😘🥰

I couldn't find hatch dates for the 4 of them as I was curious how much younger the little bird with so much fluff is. Adorable that the 3 older chicks let the "baby" have all the snack. Larry is definitely Annie's daughter: The way she watches over her brood at night. How she insists on doing all/most of the feeding, keeping her mate busy bringing in prey. How well and equitably the 4 are fed so there's no competition. It's wonderful that this nest is now online. And thank you for keeping us up-to-date with your great videos. PS I also couldn't find any information on when these 4 are expected to fledge. Do you know? I've read that they typically fly off and don't return to the nest/cam. And, of course, there are no photographers on the ground capturing their first flights.

Hatch was 4/11. Fledge would be likely about a week from today, depending on chick sex.

Do we know the chicks sex? I know they weren't banded but guessing on size now, one could make out.

What an odd place to nest for a peregrine but they made it work. How the eggs remain intact since its a slopy area. Even on mountains they would choose a little plain for the ledge area.

It's pretty normal as far as I am aware. They nest on cliff edges
