I love that Al's New Vegas barely feels like its a Fallout game anymore. Random chickens, robo nurses, friendly intelligent lakelurks, Jangles, etc all form its own little universe.

It still feels like fallout, but it feels like a fully fleshed out fallout universe with all of the wackiness and things built upon vanilla lore

I do find the phrasing kinda funny, "When was the last time you saw more than one kid?" - when two children always spawn outside the Fort chasing that big rat, and another two are chasing each other with Euclid's C Finder nearby. So the last time you'd see more than one kid would be _literally right before entering._ I do really like this mod though, it's great so far! Also for anyone wondering - the chicken farm mod is literally just named "Chicken".
