On a Hot Sunday Afternoon, the weekly train 11044 Madurai~Lokamanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai Express Locomotive KYN WDP 4D failed at Adoni and Gooty WDM 3D Rescues it,the failed loco wasn't Shut Down and kept on
Then Alco WDM 3D Couples with Humming EMD WDP 4D and after nearly 2 hours stop 11044 Departs with EMD keeping in Active state

Could be a mechanical failure, an electrical or electronic failure, a brake problem, any number of reasons why the prime mover is still turning but the locomotive is unable to pull the train. Typical GM junk won't do what they want it to do, so have to bring in older reliable machinery to handle the job.

EMD , failed loco. Train needs two ALCO Locos to run train at good speed. ALCO is good loco for 16 regular coach( non AC) trains, which we don't have many,, now a days.
