We each have to figure it out for ourselves. But what it sounds like, just throwing this out there and you will make your own decisions of course, is you’ve been trying to do anything and everything to keep alcohol in your life. You’re doing everything except quitting alcohol and staying quit, including a geographical and working 7 days a week (which is not sustainable as you now seem to appreciate) and now even thinking of buying another home. You don’t need to do all this. You just need to stop drinking. You can stay your whole life in this bargaining mode, trying to keep alcohol in the equation and you can announce you’re quitting as many times as you wish, or you can genuinely start to put some sobriety time together and see the changes that that brings. I was drinking a big bottle of Smirnoff a day by the end. Rolling around in bed or my flat on my own, being sick, hallucinating, barely hanging on to the contract job I had, saying horrible things to the people I loved. Now I have my partner back and can spend every day present with our beautiful son and my career is getting back on track. Most of all, I don’t hate myself when I wake up in the morning. I’m starting to feel like me again. Whatever short and small buzz alcohol gave me is nothing compared to a life I’m proud of and being close to people I love who are proud of me too.

If the children and their mother live in the property, but not yourself, seems you could be setting yourself for problems down the road. To me the sensible plan would be- buy the property for yourself to live in, and your children when you have them. Which hopefully would be at least 50% of the time. Yes it seems a very unselfish plan to purchase a property for your children and their mother. There's many ways this could backfire and might not be the best for you or your children.

Put in some q 10 and selenium and so on and see if this get it into a better balance, because all this drinking could have led to deficiencies a vicious circle, theese selenium and so on give a better sleap and fix up much and then exersise every day if a opportunity.sveating out in a sauna etc. I have newer drink like this, moore a occationally week end .once a mounth, but i tryed one year total sober taking up theese tablets as i used before as "a hobby" that is a gamechanger, sleap is like in the 20 s and i just quit even the week end drinking, i go out sometimes but drink alk free beer. I should not promote but Pharmanord is good in this. "Hit hard " on the q 10 150 mg in start and down to about 100 . (Even 1500 is not dangerous) but you should not hit to heavy on because it start step by step doing it,s job.

In the end you might have the house. But you want have a marriage or your kids around. Alcohol will increase in your life. Nobody can work so many hours and stay sober. I done it and it nearly killed me. No point in owning a house when you sick 🤢 and need care.

I don’t totally understand your situation but why do you feel the need to provide for your “family” who don’t seem to be willing to contribute as well? What kind of work are you doing? Menial stuff or are you qualified in something?
