Following Sundays Sharpie/alcohol marker galaxy video, I said I would be back with more ideas for you. I have used the broad tip of my alcohol markers to colour some wavy lines on the reverse side of photo paper. YOU CAN DO THIS WITH SHARPIE MARKERS TOO!

I used the reverse side of Kirkland Professional Glossy Photo Paper which is available from Costco and Amazon.

Oh yes as long as its tacky it should stick.... You can get some glues that stay tacky and you can add it to anything.... The one I have is called Flitter glu by Indigo Blu but can't find my foils to try it out at the moment. I'm off on my hols on Saturday so won't have time before to hunt for them.

Thanks soooo much for your tutorials. I had to go to the local store to get ink cartridge and I saw that there was some photo paper on special $5 for 50 A4 sheets. After seeing your video I had to try this style. I'm reluctant to use my Yupo paper for play so I was thrilled when the back side reacted brilliantly. I used pens and gold alcohol ink for an accent . I can't stop. thanks for giving me my art mojo back...........

I just love this project, so kind of you to share it with us. I am trying to get back into art after caring for my parents the past seven years. They have both passed now and I am lost, I'm hoping new art projects will help me enjoy life again. I think this project would keep me busy w/o thinking too hard about it. I really need something that takes my mind away. I can't seem to paint like I used to? I am so grateful I stumbled upon you and then came to youtube so I could sign up and follow you. I don't have many alcohol ink markers, but I have dozens of alcohol inks from Ranger and Copic Ink Refills... and I've already found a way to improvise for the lack of the markers... but I've ordered a few markers and they should be here soon!! 😊 I cannot wait!! Thanks Brenda. You may find your dollar tree paper doesn’t work for this. Most budget photo paper has a paper backing and you need a paper with a smooth backing for the inks to spread. If you have any old unwanted photographs, the backs of those should work. Don’t worry about any branding as the inks and markets will cover most of it up. They are great for practicing on ❤️

No, it will sink into the paper rather than spreading. Do you have any old photographs you could try this out on? Even if the backs have branding on them (which most do) the markers/alcohol inks will cover it up. The back of quality photos is very similar to Yupo paper. I hope you can dig one out to try ❤️ x
