Those earrings are absolutely stunning. The green teardrop looks like a natural camo. The aqua, brown and teal leaf shape is my favorite color combo ever. Might be a little easier to get wood blanks to skip the paper gluing. Or you could use resin to encapsulate the gorgeous alcohol ink wearable art. Great work!

Hi Kim, unfortunately, I don’t sell the earring templates at the moment. But to be honest, you can make some beautiful asymmetrical earrings just by cutting random shapes. If you want them to match, you can cut one randomly and then draw round it. I know it’s not quite the same as having a template but it’s just an idea. Hello Einnockate, thanks for your question, how long it takes to make these really does depend on whether you sit down and do this in one go or whether you do it in stages. But you should be able to do it in a couple of hours. As for drying, I like to leave most of my drying for 24 hours to make sure or at the very least, overnight. Thanks for watching. 🙏❤️

Hi again Anne, ok - so the paper is called Yupo paper which is a synthetic paper that does not absorb whatever you put on it. And the punch is called a Cropodile. If you can’t get the paper and punch at your local art/craft shop, you can get them from Amazon. Sorry for the delay in response. Hi Lynn, someone else asked me that but I really don't know the answer as I don't use resin because the fumes make me feel heady, even with a mask. You probably could do that, or even use something like Dimensional Magic maybe. If you get it on just perfect to the edges it gives a resin like finish. It’s been mentioned before, but tho your demonstrations are amazing, your sound is low no goes in and out so it’s very hard to consistently hear what you’re saying. I’m on my iPad turned up to full volume, so I know it isn’t me. Can you adjust the sound on your equipment? Thanks for your channel!

Thank you Judilynn, much appreciated. The sound thing is difficult for me to troubleshoot as it’s fine on all my devices and those of a few people who I asked to check. I have no doubt the sound varies for some people on some devices but I don’t know why🤷‍♀️. All I can tell you is that I have the volume very high when I record videos now. I am sorry I can’t do anything about the older ones. I do put captions on my videos in about 40 different languages so for the ones you are having difficulties with, tap the screen and it should bring up the little cc button at the top of the video - just touch that and the captions will appear. I hope that helps because I really appreciate everyone who watches my videos. I also really appreciate you taking the time to tell me about the sound. 💕🙏

Do you need to seal the alcohol inks? With what?

Hello Christa, well some people say yes you must seal them but I'm not keen on anything that is sprayed so I don't seal mine as such. I haven't had any problems but that's not to say the earrings will last forever unsealed. If you want to sell your earrings at craft fairs or online, you'd need to seal them really or warn people they are unsealed. I only make jewlery for myself and family so I'm not bothered. You can use Krylon Kamar spay sealer but wear a mask and do it outside into a box if you can. I'm all about looking after our lungs when crafting (and any pets that are around). Hi Cheryl, I just wear mine as they are and they are fine but if you are worried about the dye in the ink fading, you could use a spray gloss on them if you wanted to. not criticizing however, i have my computer volume all the way up, literally, and i still have hard time hearing you. when a ad comes on, i get blasted from the volume. so i dont know if its your volume for recording, microphone is too far away from you when speaking or your manner of speech but something is not set right. add in im 53 (which, as i said, i have volume all way up and when a youtube ad comes on im jerking headset off due to it being so loud, its not my hearing in)

Hi Linda, sorry to hear the sound is down for you. Its very a strange thing, the sound is fine across all my devices and I’ve checked with a selection of other people who don’t have problems either. But there have been a handful of people who have experienced sound problems. So no idea why it doesn’t affect everyone. Did you realise there are subtitles you can turn on by clicking the CC button?
