Alcohol ink for beginners - how to do fades/wispy. Step by step tutorial [18]

So... another new alcohol ink tutorial.
I've had many requests on this topic, so thought it was about time to do a video on how to do ink fades and the wispy look.
I'm showing and explaining my two favorite techniques and I hope you find this useful. Fades can be tricky - but I think that with the right techniques and some practice it will become a lot easier.

Your instructions are so clear and include information about all of the minute details that other videos fail to mention. I love all your tutorials, maybe I didn’t see it but what exact paper and ink do you use? I am a beginner and my ink leaves bad stains on the paper after drying it. …

I use Nara paper. Yupo paper always stains, Nara never does. I mostly use Copic and Ranger, but doesn’t really matter what brands of ink you use - some papers stain, some don’t. Hope it helps
