How lovely! I just found you and thanks so much for this piece. Just beautiful. I call myself a “hummingbird artist” ... flitting from here to there, enjoying an art or craft intensely for awhile, then moving on. Meanwhile I’ve purchased everything possible in order to create it, and now what, you’ve gotten me into alcohol inks! My credit, not that good lol 😂. I am not an artist, but this intrigues me. Would this be a good piece to start on for my first time? Looks awfully detailed. Maybe you could recommend a diferent video for something more simple. I have been doing acrylic pouring and the beginning with the paints and mixing colors is similar. I enjoyed your video and how your picture turned out.

I have noticed that you usually do not seem to worry about the edges of the tiles being painted. If I wanted to paint the edges on my painting would that be a problem? What is the easiest way to go about painting if it is ok to do so?

Yes you can paint the sides if you would like, sometimes I like the ink just run over.🎨🖌

Do you use a silicone brush to help stop or move the paints. I just saw kensyarts it and I tried to see what she was using and then in another post she talks about it. Just curious..Beautiful as usual

I have not used a silicone brush, I do use a couple different brands of paint brushes, They are artist's loft and Princeton are 2 of my favorite.🖌🎨 Hope this helps.🙂

I seal all my paintings with kamar varnish and uv resistant made by krylon. I'm so glad you enjoy my art, I hope this helps.😊🎨🖌

I tried this. but tied over and over to get colorless you, especially the pink. I think I have to mask off the lower off so i can paint without having to rtry and remove the paint to cover it.

Those colours in the tray don’t dry out? Or are they dry and reactivated with the alcohol? I mostly saw you using blending solution not alcohol?

I used 99% alcohol to revive the alcohol ink, like water with watercolors.

I think personally I have worked with tiles a lot longer, so I am more comfortable with them. The ink is easier to control and you can easily correct mistakes, since the ink does not stain (like it does on Yupo). Hope this info helps!
