Thank you! One thing I have realized is that art it not a solo journey. I'm so thankful for the people who have helped me along the way!

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll check it out! I like the shelf liner, but it does tend to leave a bit of sticky residue.

I'm going to try your technique on tiles.

That's a great idea! I have a bunch of tiles I've been meaning to play with, so I'd love to know what results you get. I'm very curious to see how it works for you.

@@hopalongstudio My daughter gave me some cricut vinyl from the dollar store and that worked great. I've only done a test tile so don't have a finished product but it does work.

@@gypsys Thanks for sharing, that's good to know! I'll have to give it a try with vinyl and see if I can have a little less residue on the surface. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great video! Thank you! I was wondering if it with work with just regular watercolors or watered down acrylic paint

You're welcome! I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Yes, it should work just as well with watercolors or watered down acrylic paint. The key is making sure that the mask will come off whatever surface you choose to use for this technique.

I loved it and think it is gorgeous. And what about fingerprints on your yupo? Thanks and God Bless.
@hopalongstudio2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't usually have too many issues with fingerprints on my Yupo (though sometimes wearing gloves I end up leaving prints around the edges if I'm not paying attention to how I'm holding it). Funny enough, if you put your hand along of the back of the Yupo while it dries, the heat from your hand can leave finger prints in the design. I try to handle the paper as little as possible and if I wait for it to fully dry, I don't have too many issues with fingerprints. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching!
