Great! I think the CHS by tetkoba-san will burn more stable due to buffer volume in a hoop, but your construction is very easy to make, very light and starts up in a moment. Good work, thank you!

I found your video aggain after many years, one of the best stoves very easy to build great performance. I also made one out of a Deodorant spray can a bit harder to do because of thicker material but works great.

thanks a lot...what i like about this stove is that it's super easy to make and can be made out of a lot of types of cans

Thank you for sharing this design. I just made one but I put the holes on the outside using a thumb tack as the last step instead of on the inside so I could use without a pot stand. It works, but almost goes out when I first put the cold pot on. I will add three small pins to the edge to keep the contact minimal between the pot and stove. I was pleasantly surprised to weigh it and find it is only 6 g.

Thank you for a detailed report. The comment of the video is glad, but the comment of the person who made it is really glad. I want to see your video of your cool stove. I want you to share it by all means. Because I already have many Groove Stove, I do not get into making this type of side burner. I also share it again if I make it.

looking fantastic! I love it, it's like a super hot Stealth stove. Great conception, you should win a prize for its simplicity and intricate design. BoilOn!

I did a replica of your stove yesterday. Amount of work done is sligthly less than for CHS. My stove also burn with a messy flame without tornado, but it is a defect of make, not construction. I did some CHS also, and, most important, I used it in my hikes and it always performs well. I need a stable boil time and low fuel consumption more than ultra-fast boil. Advantages of your stove over CHS: 1) The fuel left in the stove is easy to recover. 2) wide mouth of stove, more convenient storage.

Nice stove. I am guessing that you can adapt the design into a side burner.
@FlashGeiger11 жыл бұрын
There is no problem with the video. I just wanted to try making a side burner version. It works well, although I would need a wider pot to achieve the efficiency that you have, so likely I should make one being faithful to your design next time.

@ducttaperulestheworl11 жыл бұрын

Is there any boiling test video with this stove? What's the boiling time for 500ml water and burn time for 30ml?
@Sokol102 жыл бұрын
Search in their channel (LittleBitWorks) for the video: Alcohol Stove - Ultra Easy Tornado Stove boiling test ~20ml of alcohol boil 400 ml of water in 4 minutes, burnout 6:25 min

It does not influence combustion so much even if jet holes grows big. Please keep experimenting with no worry. This is a latest secret, too.

That piece of paper has been badly cut and is skew. How bad is the rest of the work?
@LittleBitWorks11 жыл бұрын
Don't worry, my friend. I tell you a serious secret of the tornado type alcohol stove. Practically there is really no matter even if even a tornado is not a tornado. A messy flame and orderly flame also do the same work. It is only difference in appearance. This is a result of the my latest researches. If you need a stable boil time and low fuel consumption, please try the Groove Stove. It will surely make you more happy.

no problem. If you have no drills, you can also use a push-pin of an office work and a safety-pin and a needle for sewing to drill a holes.
