Today, I witnessed a miracle through prayer. My 6 year old niece twisted her ankle and was in agonizing pain. We prayed healing over her in the name of Jesus and by His power and might, and she was walking and less and less pain. God really is a miracle worker. Ask and we shall receive.

@@VarietyArc Saved my mom from that. She got diagnosed with Inflamitorial Breast Cancer, and she was gonna die in 6 months. My family (they didn't tell me at the time, I was super young) prayed with her for weeks on end. Later, my mom went to the doctor to see how much the cancer has grown.. during the test the cancer cells stopped existing. The doctors saw nothing in her body. It was incurable and the doctors have never seen anything like it before. If everyone has the faith, God will heal the sick and injured. For if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can "move mountains".

Something similar happened to me two years ago . I was deep in post partum depression and I would escape to the liquor store around the corner and drink and smoke . One day I was so desperate- there was a street preacher with a REPENT sign right across the street and she smiled at me. I kept telling myself “just one more” 🚬 but instead, In that moment I ran to her and started crying. I’ve been here YEARS and never seen her. It was completely His timing. I didn’t even have to say anything, she knew. She prayed for me and I was set free. God sent her there that day so I could encounter Him. I’m so grateful for her obedience. I will always remember that day.

In addition to attending church and reading Scripture, I might encourage this man to visit a 12-step program meeting, to hear the testimonies of others who are actively abstaining from alcohol and can provide him support. They understand what he is going through.

I was looking for this comment. Don’t get me wrong…I believe in spiritual gifts. But it’s my understanding that tongues are for personal edification…and God will also give you the gift of interpretation. So that when you do speak in tongues amongst others they will be edified as well. God literally performed a miracle in me at home in my bedroom…I said yes to Him and I repented. He snatched my heart right on up and changed it. And from that moment on I knew I had been born again. Never to be the same! Glory🙌🏾🙌🏾And I didn’t speak in tongues. It was literally a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. The changing power of God.

I have never met a human being that didn't have an issue with some kind of vice. From childhood, we do what feels good to our senses. Most childhood issues are quick to kick, but the vices of adulthood 😕. I can say, an idle mind will run away with itself. There are things I myself tried that helped and has helped others. Going to Church as much as can be, healthy habits that consume idleness, feeding good material into a brain, christian friends, reading scripture, and lots of prayer. Jesus will set you free! I was in bondage to alcohol for four years. And i knew the exit to the liquor store and was oraying to God for help. The spirit told me that it doesnt matter how much you cry out and your going to stop for alcohol because thats whats in your heart. I wanted to be free but i also wanted alcohol more than i wanted God. It took me lossing alot before i let God change me. I ended up writing a book and is now on Amazon, going to college and taking care of my baby boy. Hes making me be selfless rather than selfish. And taking care of my family is so tiring but rewarding. I was delivered from all the strong holds and demonic lies. It took about three weeks of constant time with the Lord and letting the Holy Spirit reveal things and break the legally binding agreements i made that allowed those demonic spirits to attach themselves on my life. Im free!

So, here’s something that can get confusing when discussing this topic. There are different forms of Tongues. So, in this video, the man received the Holy Spirit after saying the prayer with Nicolas. This is the type of Tongue which was in the Upper room, the Cloven Tongues like as of fire. The Gift of Tongues is something else, in which an interpreter is needed to be there to interpret what God is saying through that person. And yes, a lot of people fake it, and sometimes, innocently, not really understanding it. But the Cloven tongues in the evidence that God has filled you with his spirit, and I would argue that it is necessary. If I went to court, and was accused of committing a crime when there was no evidence, no one would believe the accuser. Other evidence is the fruits of the spirit, and these are likewise necessary. There was a really good podcast I listened to called Biblos by Pastor Nathaniel Urshan, and the episode is called Is Speaking in Tongues in the Old Testament, I would encourage you to listen to it. Prayer is powerful, yet he also needs to replace those bad addictions with good habits. A lot of addictions start, just because our hands always want to be busy (drinkers like to hold their drink, smokers are holding their cigarette). I found that bike riding helped me greatly to beat a 20+ year smoking addiction, as my hands were busy & so was my mind.

Such an inspirational testimony. I can totally relate! I pray God stays with him and guides us all everyday! The devil knows our weaknesses and uses them everyday. Through God all things are possible! I had some of the same problems and I pray God keeps me on the righteous path and help others wherever I can!

This is absolutely amazing. I teard up watching it. This actually hits close to home. Just a month ago i gave my life back to god. I still struggle and its an everyday struggle . I hope he keeps strong in his faith and continues to grow spiritually.

Sin is a universal rebellion towards our creator but we will always end up rebelling until the day we die. Thats why Jesus died and rose again. You may not want to sin but its inevitable and Gods grace and mercy is much more pervasive than the sin we commit.
