A maths teacher came and started a series and now is nowhere to be found. Same with physics more than half of the chapters don't have any video. This sir is true to his words and does a great job. @Tarun bansal No In the very first step when he uses sunlight,then it follows a free radical mechanism and due to which chlorination takes place. So for addition of chlorine most stable free radical should be there i.e. 3° and there should be 3° chlorine but he made a 1° chlorine.Why? I think now I am clear!

@@vanshikasharma8002 Short answer : cuz the radical on 1° carbon is benzylic (which means it is very stable) why not 3° you ask, cuz sp2 carbon pr radical stable nhi hota ... vinylic hota hai. Plus, saying 3° is wrong, cuz we use 1°, 2° and 3° words with sp3 hybridised carbons only.

Because 1st is on meta position and another one is on para position .... OCH3 group is electron recieving group and at meta position it cannot easily gave so the ion became more negative but at para it will happen because it is more stable and thus the ion will became positively charged thus less acidic . . . Hope u understand.. U can further ask if ur doubt not cleared
