Relatable. Most self-proclaimed experts on motivation and discipline advocate for simply taking action no matter what, leading us all to become the initial Gohan, because that will guarantee them views time and time again. Refreshing to see someone so selfless to teach actual methods rooted in ancient wisdom. Keep on making videos, they're truly helpful and a joy to listen to. A huge thank you from the Netherlands.

Can someone explain more about part 2, the natural way of life? They talk about similarities with streams or river of water. But then again the flow of river is only one way and usually downstream meaning from hi to low. Does this mean that success is actually at the bottom? Then how can we finish a task?
@RickFiragaАй бұрын
As the water flows, it encounters many obstacles. Rocks, plants, logs, garbage or debris from us, even the soil and earth itself, all stand in the way of the water. They prevent the straight line path of "point A to point B" which would be the easiest. Instead of fighting these obstacles, the water flows around them, circumventing them all and taking the path of least resistance. It's similar to how someone would move through a crowd of people, weaving back and forth to find the openings between people. One understanding of this in practice could be seen as taking a break while studying because you find your thoughts straying from the topic. Perhaps you rest your mind for a brief moment then continue, perhaps you take a short walk before returning. You go with the flow of your own energy, when you feel it fade or deplete, you recover it so you can continue. That's my understanding at least.

Buddha was married, 1 can assume he loved his wife Yasodarma. He left his wife and princely estate. He and Yasodarma became a monk and a nun. So, They lived separately, yet the mind was fixated on the loved one. Hence the every minute every day question "what is she doing? What did she feel?" So 8 fold path teaches to extinguish love. Focus the mind constantly on skin and breathing. Purposely realize what is truely known and what is delusion. He prepared the world to recognize the truth of resurrected Jesus in the clouds above.
