@Sourabh Raj Here, when one says "made up", they are referring to that fact that what actually happens in the chemical reaction is *very* different from what is taught in it's mechanism. Frustration occurs when you cannot successfully apply one concept, or a set of concepts in every case; there are *always* exceptions. Now, obviously I understand that this is just the nature of chemistry; very powerful computers are required to understand what is actually going on via simulations and hence most of everything in chemistry is guesswork that works in the majority of cases. On the other hand, this is just simply *not* true for Physics, where one concept, when applied (following its rules and limitations), is *always* valid. There are no exceptions. Of course they are "made up" in a sense, but they work, and they work always. When they don't work in certain cases, there is always a newer theory that explains it, but complements the older one, and refines it further. For e.g., Newton's laws, then Einstein's theory of Special Relativity, it only further explained what Newton did with further refinement and of course loads more new stuff as well. At the very least, whatever we learn in Physics is what is *actually* happening, rather than made-up mechanisms and made-up laws like in chemistry. Take for e.g., conservation of energy. Is it ever violated? *Never* - Now tell me how many times have you seen such a thing in chemistry?
