Ice, let alone, water changes the flavor of most sprites. Would recommend with tasting straight first, a little water next and then ice. Not saying anyway is better, just different. You should get the most out of your bottle of sprites, especially with them going north of $50 a bottle.

Technically it's not. That's why it's called scotch lol. Bourbon is also whiskey, but its actually bourbon. I can make Irish whiskey here in the US, but it wouldn't actually be irish whiskey. Terminology is important when speaking on alcohol and foods, bud.

I've never been a big whiskey drinker but I got hooked on Crown Vanilla and Jack Honey. Both are smooth and sweet. I put my glass and the bottle in the freezer. Putting ice in the glass takes away from the flavor
