Round 1 - Alcorn Round 2 - Tie Round 3 - Alcorn Round 4 - Dega Round 5 - Tie ( both had intonation issues) Round 6 - Tie Both have a very strong sound, but Dega got out of tune (specifically with bones, tubas and mellos) at times. Alcorn trumpets got drowned a few times. It's interesting to see how both bands styles are becoming 'similar' .. arrangement style mainly.

This was kind of hard for me to watch, but it was nice seeing both bands doing what they do. I can’t help but see a heavy ASU Stingette influence (very heavy with Dega Diamonds) in both these squads and I love that sassy flair coming from them both. Also both looked clean and focused, GG’s are just more entertaining for me than DD.

I enjoyed this watch. For me it was Alcorn band and the GGs. What’s 😂 to me is that Talladega band director thinking they did something. I get having pride in your presentation, but it tickles me to see bands get pounced and they be hyped Af as if they won. Got to ❤️our HBCUs bands they put in so much work. Talladega, water did sound too good to ME! Alcorn, “You were made for me.” was off too. But I just ❤️❤️us. Go💜💛 Go ❤️🩶
