Just when the KZbin magic community was starting to die down you breathed fire into it! With all the great older channels no longer uploading it’s been long needed for another amazing magician and you just so happen to fit it. Between the clever gimmicks and mind blowing performances, there’s few like you still out there willing to teach anything without requiring a paywall. Thank you for all you do and I hope this is just the beginning for your KZbin career!

I just got another idea: I am (again) thinking via the 4-step formula: 1. What do I want to do? Well obviously what was shown in the video! 2. How does everybody else do it (the obvious way)? 3. What would be the most insane/crazy way of doing it? Deck is in displaced order at the start. First faro (0:42) puts it into actual order. Have some way of finding the card when looking through (like at 2:58) 4. How could I get that ridiculous method to work? Order the cards beforehand, so that the faro makes the order actually come together Overhand shuffles (which you have "led to" using good audience management) actually keep a lot of the ordering intact. However the top half has been shuffled into itself a few times, too, whilst the bottom part was simply cut into small packets. This means that the sections from the bottom half can easily be recovered up to a few cards precision. With cold reading you get the suit (2:38) and the region of the value (3:03) which should bridge that precision gap.

I think I know how it’s done is there like the same value twice on the top then 2 twos then 2 threes down to kings in the middle then it going down back to queens twice then jacks and so on so when they cut you look and look at the smaller pile and divide it by 2 and that will be the number around that and when you talk the 2 aces down to king cards are like to suits you can memorize that is one top for a ample clubs and hearts and then spades and diamonds on the bottom and during your talking you will use dis Vernon’s way of figuring out something between to possible things it could be by talking by saying I will say something to you and then say 1 of the two suits it could be and if they down react then you know it’s the other one! But I think that’s how it’s done. Am I right

Saw your video by chance today, and have been thinking about the trick ever since! I'd like to see if I can figure it out before giving up! Have had many ideas, and they have all ben shot down, dang! my latest idea was that the deck is stacked (the faro makes the stack complete), in such a way that each card has a specific location in the deck. Then the first half is shuffled, ruining the order, the selected card is put on top, the the remaining half is shuffled, ruining it. So the magician just looks for a card that is in the correct position. But that was shot down, as the selection is shuffled along with the first half... Red/black separation, etc. etc. it resists all attempts! It might be a force, but I don't see how (the magician looks at a card before putting the top half back on the deck at the beginning). It's not the cut force where the spectator cuts to the same location. I've seen two different performances. In both performances, when the magician receives the deck before divining the card, he quickly goes through the deck to locate it. He might not know what it is until he finds it because of some circumstance. Thanks for bringing this mystery into my life. I refuse to give up for now though 😄 EDIT: I couldn't help it and watched your explanation at -0,25 speed- Frame by frame. Hmm...

I think this is how the trick is done: There are 3 predetermined cards that are short cards. One is in the middle, other is on top half and the third is on the lower half. Very likely to cut on one of these. Magician then finds out which one of them it is. Maybe by looking at the other decks size or fishing information: "Is it a low numbered card..." (as the third one is big card and second card is maybe always 10 (not low or high). This is my guess only. What do you think?

PICK ME XD Dude, this is insanity. Like, the ONLY thing I can think off is a thing that requires to pick a card by cutting the deck. Its also a force, altrough a multiple possible forced cards, and some fishing. I did saw things here that could mean thats correct actually, and I have my own trick that uses similar things, and the funny thing is this was indeed invented for magicians by me lol And the fishing part can be literally unnoticeable, depending on luck. But, BUT my trick is not a surifyer. Altrough I had really, REALLY rare occasions when if fluked.
