Here we review the AlcoSense Lite 2 and AlcoSense Ultra.
We all know it’s not wise to drink at all and then drive the same day, but even driving the next day you could be over the legal limit. So having a cost-effective device that gives you peace of mind and an indication on if you are over or under the legal limit is a no brainer in our opinion. So these devices could be an excellent gift for yourself or a loved one if you or they fancy a tipple once in a while.
So in the name of research, I tested these devices, drinking a bottle of red wine over a few hours one evening and then testing myself that evening and the following morning.
The AlcoSense Ultra has a retail cost of £249.99 and prior to my testing of the device I saw online that it had 89 reviews with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.
The AlcoSense Lite 2 has a retail cost of £44.99 and prior to my testing of the device I saw online that it had 210 reviews with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5.
These devices by all accounts looked very well rated, however, I would stress that these devices may not be as exact/accurate as those used by the police (but close enough I'd assume), however, these devices will give you a very good indication as to whether you are above or under the allowed alcohol limits for whatever country you are based.
