Aldi have a half decent xmas selection. I got some chocolate gonks to try not a bad price and a little treat. But it does depend on what aldi you go to coz somethings sell out quicker than others.

In my own experience Aldi is always advertising things it hasn't got, and it makes me very angry.A few yrs ago it was it's top award winning Christmas Pudding.I have 2 Aldi's nearby, I went to both of them morning, noon,and night every day.They didn't have them nor had they ever had them. The staff hadn't even heard about them. It has since happened the same with other things, now I take no notice of anything they are advertising, they probably put them in one shop in the whole country. IT'S A CON.

Lebkuchen is traditional german cake, it has a specific flavor, so not everyone likes it ☺️

@@curioustravellers I like the texture, the flavour was ok, but the glaze on it tasted fake and weird it made the whole things taste weird. I swear they changed the recipe. I’ve had the authentic stuff before from a relative and loved it and they do honey cakes in Germany and Ukraine as well, very tasty.
