A friend got me the booklet with all these goodies. I was astonished at the prices and the variety. Wow. The reindeer have been over social media for a while. I look for them every week but have been unsuccessful. 😢 Hard not to resist these goodies. Do not like mince pies, bit too sweet!! Thanks for sharing Kirsty 😊

I've been a loyal Aldi customer for years but not any more. I do my shopping every week at 9pm. I went tonight and there were no staff operated tils open. We had no choice but to use the self service tils. One member of staff was on duty and everyone had a problem. Morrisons for me from now on I'm afraid.

It's so annoying when there are no manned tills but probably to do with the time ? My local Sainsbury's never have any manned tills at any time so I stopped going there now .

Looks great! I have to ask though - you mentioned picking up wagyu beef dripping as an alternative to goose fat as you don't eat birds, but then picked up a turkey roast? Have I missed something 😄

No, apparently its a thing this year. Having discovered that beef dripping is a stable fat that doesn't do nasty things to you (the other is olive oil & butter, together) Lidl is adding beef dripping to its goose fat jars. Personally I'd prefer to put a drop of olive oil to stabilise it at high temperatures

The amaryllis are rubbish at any price, mine won’t grow and I paid full price , my last years M&S one is going strong .
