If you're going to use that pasta sauce or any pasta sauce, you can add a teaspoon of the garlic paste and add a teaspoon of basil paste both at aldis. To a pan first add a little bit of oil or butter so that the pastes dissolves with no chunks. Then add your sauce and a little bit of salt and pepper. The garlic and basil will really bring out the flavor of the sauce and make a more robust as flavorful sauce, that will taste like it took hours when really it only took 10 minutes! PS. The longer you cook the sauce the better it'll taste.💓

I used to think that too, that if you simmered the sauce for hours it would taste better, but honestly I did that for years instead of for 30-45 minutes as I had before, and always added fresh parsley, basil, oregano and thyme, or a combination of fresh and dried, always fresh garlic, and it was all pretty good, but never noticed a discernable difference, came to the conclusion that simmering the sauce all day wasn't really the secret to a good sauce. 🤷 (Still wondering.)

Please do some video on Millets. They’re higher in calcium than dairy and cheeses.many varieties(please cover the varieties) Helps to restore the soil so farmers do not have to keep fertilizing the soil for nutrients. These grains are complex carbs and nutrient dense. Lastly, we’re losing soil elements world wide so India has declared this year to be the year of Millets!

👍For years we've said that the big appeal of Dunkin Donut's coffee (which really is nice coffee. It's a good blend, brewed a little stronger than at a typical DD) are the insane amounts of sugar and the delicious light dairy cream that they use. Of course it tastes great.

👍 Even at Aldi gluten free and really healthy options are still fairly expensive, but the pizza dough looks like a great buy. (My concern about things containing potato starch or dried potato as an ingredient is the presence of sodium bisulfite/ metabisulfite, which is used in about 99% of dried potato products, some refrigerated & frozen seafood, etc and causes immediate severe reactions in people sensitive to it. There used to be a law that required a large neon orange sticker on the any products that had it. Bring it back!)

Many Aldi stores don’t order the full inventory at the Dc , it’s only the wealthier locations that have the whole line of products. Some stores only order one case of anything organic for the store , that’s why you can’t find some products. People don’t buy it enough especially in lower income areas , people don’t buy higher prices items . Just a little bit of info from someone at the Aldi DC

@arthrodea
@arthrodea 11 ай бұрын
Ughhh, I Just looked this up on Wikipedia - you are right!! "n 1917, American food chemist James Currie discovered that certain strains of the mold Aspergillus niger could be efficient citric acid producers,[15] and the pharmaceutical company Pfizer began industrial-level production using this technique two years later, followed by Citrique Belge in 1929. In this production technique, which is still the major industrial route to citric acid used today, cultures of A. niger are fed on a sucrose or glucose-containing medium to produce citric acid. The source of sugar is corn steep liquor, molasses, hydrolyzed corn starch, or other inexpensive, sugary solution.[16] After the mold is filtered out of the resulting solution, citric acid is isolated by precipitating it with calcium hydroxide to yield calcium citrate salt, from which citric acid is regenerated by treatment with sulfuric acid, as in the direct extraction from citrus fruit juice."
