Do NOT put juice or milk in it! You will get mold that you can’t get out! You can use the water/hydration enhancers like Mio or Nuun (I think that’s the name), but you need to clean them with cleaning tablets that get in the nooks and crannies. Camelbacks cost more because the tubing and bite sippers are easily swapped/replaced and come apart for cleaning. If this one doesn’t come apart for cleaning, it’ll be a nightmare. Good luck with that OJ pulp.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one 😂 I was so worried about mold. I used to take a wire coat hanger and bend it to keep the bag open and hang it up to dry, but that was before they made them fancy and able to come apart to be cleaned. Another thing to note is a lot of places will check and make sure it's only water inside!

My son uses the Camelbaks for his enduro motorcycle races. Use the efferdent denture cleaners in the bags to clean them! You can also use a half water half peroxide solution 😊

Pro tip for the cruise.... Take a Listerine bottle and empty it out and wash. Then refill with a clear liquor and add a couple of drops of food coloring. You are welcome lol

If you’re going to put other liquids (DON’T PUT ANYTHING CARBONATED) you can’t leave it for later. You must clean it out as soon as possible. You need to take it apart to drain the water from the tubing. There are cleaning kits for the bladders. Let it dry completely OR store empty bladder in the freezer.

My other half races dirt bikes and the best tip he ever got for keeping those drink packs clean and fresh, is you rinse them out 2 to 3 times with water and then to keep them from getting mold in them, you roll them up and put them in the freezer tube and all until you're ready to use it again. Never has had a problem with mold, funky smells and tastes since he started doing this.

As someone who has used camelbacks and off-brand ones for years, you really do get quality with Camelbak! But if you want to save money, get the Camelbak bladder, straw, and tip but get an off-brand backpack. I promise you want quality for the bladder. Easy to fill, seal, not leak, and then clean and dry out when the time comes! And don't use anything other than water!

I've been using camelbaks since I was 13 to kayak. It's super convenient to get a drink without opening your spray skirt. The camelbak ones come apart completely for easier cleaning and dry fine. Imo it's worth the extra cost bc those you'll have to toss after using they'll get real funky real quick

I’ve had a hydration backpack for years. I use denture tabs to clean it. Then I store the bladder in the freezer in a 1-gallon ziplock; it doesn’t take up much room.

I would be very careful purchasing a full face snorkel mask, especially a knock off for a cheap one. I live in Hawaii, and their safety is definitely questionable. Here’s a clip from an article. “ Full face snorkel masks have become increasingly popular in recent years for their convenience and perceived safety. However, news reports of drowning deaths in Hawaii being linked to full face snorkel masks have raised concerns about their safety.”

I believe the issue is the air you breathe out does not fully clear the mask and it’s more of a carbon dioxide issue as opposed to water leakage although that can certainly be just as deadly 😵

Vivian scares me. I use a camel backpack. CARBONATED LIQUID WILL MAKE IT EXPLODE, they are sealed to work. Anything with sugar will make it gross. It's easy to get the water out, fill it with air and put the tube to the bottom, close the top cap, open the end of the tube and push out all the water. Also the replacement bladder or water bag holder cost me $20. The Aldis is cheaper and you have the whole thing. This is crazy.

Just saw something about those camelbak bags yesterday- lady stores hers in the freezer. Not as nice as knowing you got it all cleaned out, but better than seeing mold grow. I couldn't use one - I'm even freaked out by reusable water bottles that don't completely come apart for cleaning.

I had been looking at that duffle back since a week before it became available however it's too big to be a carryon piece of luggage in flight so I didn't buy it. I inspected it in person a few days ago. I had wanted the pink but the green is nice. The pink one actually got soiled while I was checking it out in the store. I might have gotten produce residue on it. Oops. Therefore the black or green one would show less dark dirt. Ok. Now back to the video. Good value for the money if planning to use it for road trips or to the gym.

Those full face snorkle masks are banned in areas of HI. They can have an issue with carbon dioxide build up.

Viviannnn noooo that inflatable lounger is garbageeeee. We tried filling two different ones so many ways and it was so much work. By the time we got air in them, rolled em up, and laid on them, no matter what, the air would push right out of the top and disperse unevenlyyyyyy. I love Aldi but this is sadly a miss 🥺

Quincy's neoprene bags are a much cheaper dupe for Dagne Dover. Just check how expensive anything from Dayne Dover is! I am mad that I have several DD pieces, because I would have been thrilled with the ALDIs version!
