Loved this. Just in relation to your washing machine. I had same issue. I took the entire drawer out and cleaned it. Cleaned out the back of the drawer / machine. Then I did a ninety degree wash with vinegar in my fabric softener section. This worked for me. Might be worth a try. Apparently the softener builds up if you do a lot of 30 and 40 degree washes.

I do the same and use bicarbonate of soda in the machine at the same time , I used white vinegar. I always keep the door open and the drawer when not in use .xx

Pull the drawer out the washing machine turn over there is a small hole If that is blocked it won’t drain, this happened to mine, and the blue bit take off and clean amd unblock :-) hope this helps x

If you take your washing machine drawer out there are little holes in the machine above it. If it's not draining it usually means they are clogged up. Try scrubbing it with an old toothbrush or a sonic brush and the little bristles should clean in the little holes and clear it xx

Take the drawer out the washing machine and wipe the inside at the top they’ll be a hole at the back wipe that as it can get gunky and stop the fabric conditioner draining mine does it from time to time I just wipe clean it and it going back to draining no problem x

Put washing machine issue into google it should give you reason for problem 😊
