My mom use to peel and thinly slice cucumber, s&p, and vinegar and cover the bowel with a plate and put the electric can opener on top of it.😳she said it took something out of them but I can’t remember. They were so good with homegrown tomatoes sliced on the side.

We do that with eggplant. Not the vinegar-just salt. It removes the bitter juices.

My mom makes a similar cucumber salad, sliced cucumbers with a splash of vinegar, salt and pepper but she adds Miracle Whip. So delicious 😋😋😋😋

You’re right, you did see the coloring book at D. T. because I bought one. Tish, could you tell me how you prepared and cooked your stuffed jalapeños? I somehow missed that video. I love stuffed jalapeños. I just had a salad with avocado ranch dressing. Last week I went to Aldi. Bought several things that you showed in today’s video. I didn’t see any of those blankets though. Very nice. My mom used to make sliced cucumbers, sliced onions with vinegar. Yum. Thanks 😊. 👩🏻‍🦱💌📬

Tish Yassss on the cucumbers and vinegar! I keep a batch in my fridge. I make mine with apple cider vinegar and red onions. The apple cider vinegar is bit more tart but onions balances it out. Try it. Thanks for sharing.
