I try to keep my wardrobe choices and I usually avoid trends. However, I really enjoy your videos and today’s video is a breath of fresh air. I love all the trends that you featured today. I have added 3 pairs of wider leg pants and I intend to add more items such as those you posted. I enjoy your posts so much and I really like your down to earth suggestions.

I wish she would use some models that are in larger sizes. Most of the model pictures are a size 2-6. How about us girls that wear larger, 12-16 or bigger? It would be nice to see how these fashion trends would look on bigger girls before we have to go shopping.

Yes, I AGREE! I'm a 73 year old woman that is size 14 and has a large bust. So many of the "cute" trends and designs just don't work for me.

I am a trendy 74 year old. I am a size 6 (5’3”) and very active in my church, my community and also physically. I grew up in a very preppy era, moved into the hippie boho looks in college. I dressed conservatively for my corporate career, but since retiring….its TRENDY all the way. It’s a state of mind isn’t it 😉

@@flowerpower3618 Build has everything to do with how well we wear ‘trendy’ clothes. If you’ve been left with a considerable belly after childbirth, or simply too many trips to McDonalds for processed and hormone added food, those cropped pullovers and jackets are not going to pair well with either wide leg trousers or jeans. Wide legs only look good on tall, slim women. If you have to get a huge waist size for your wide legs to fit, you’ve lost the lengthening and slimming effect already and are going to have paunch hangover and ‘indentations’ with nothing to camouflage them. In other words, you’ll look like a ‘wide load. The ladies I really feel sorry for though are the short of stature. They will likely have to cut off the entire flair of jeans just to have them the right hem length. Or else they will wear them exceedingly long and risk tripping and breaking something. Amazingly, you will see women sporting the new trends regardless of how much they are NOT a fit for their body type and yet apparently thinking they could easily be on the cover of Elle. Women are funny old things, of which I am one.

Also, I would want a good quality version, which would probably be somewhat difficult to find and be at a price point higher than I want to pay for something that I might not even wear ….🤨

On clothing, it's not for me but shoes, bags, belts, accessories, I do like it as long as the print is small! No more than 1cm (1/2") or so. And not worn everywhere at once! I have leopard print slingbacks in the classic tri-colour and I've worn them so many times! With trousers, black jeans, plain midi/maxi skirts etc but always with either a cognac or black bag. They are the star of the outfit and everything else plays a supportive role. 😊

I was ambivalent too, so I decided to go the fast fashion route (something I rarely do!) and buy an inexpensive pair of slingbacks with a low heel (my favourite type of shoe). I made sure they were comfortable and figured even if I didn't wear them much they were not a lot of money and I could give them away. Well lo and behold I've worn them loads of times and 2.5 years later they still look good! Will I buy a better quality pair when these bite the dust? Maybe, maybe not, I'll decide when it happens.

Definitely! I still hate wide leg pants. Thank goodness for straight leg classic pants and jeans. Hopefully wides go out soon, they look so frumpy. I rarely see people wearing them, that is why dresses are so popular.

At 62 years of age I find myself wearing classic styles with a touch of trendy. I’ve been a big fan of leopard print for a few years now and I like to pair it with a solid black, green or brown. Always get compliments from people especially the younger women

I’m already doing most of those trends. I like to mix classic with trendy items. I spend more money on my classic pieces and less on the trends. It’s nice to add a little something trendy, like metallic shoes, to an ordinary outfit.

I’m with you on the soft blush pink. I’ve never worn it before and now I love it and have bought several pieces. I’ve let my hair go to its natural color which is now a blond/grey and this color looks great with my hair and skin tone. Great video!

I love leopard print and still have some pieces, I kept a winter coat, could not part with it, purse, shoes, and one blouse. Glad I hung on to these pieces. Tennis shoes with trousers, probably not. I am just getting use to the wide leg straight trousers. Might get a pair or 2. I bought an olive colored pair of chinos, wide legged fitted torso pants this past Spring. I Love the crop length blazers, also because they suite my frame better. I have several. Rah!

I follow trends if I like them and they fit in with my slightly boho style. Leopard, wide legged pants and jeans, skirts, cognac accessories, crochet knits, metallics, vests, stripes, the new fall reds and browns and girly shoes all will be in my closet, because they already are! My preference is sticking with classics like the Breton stripes and trousers. The "trends" that I have had in my wardrobe for the last few years are wide leg jeans, leopard print tops, cropped lady sweaters, Mary Jane and ballet flats, and sneakers worn with trousers. Hi Kay, I have loved leopard print since I was a child. When I was around 11 years old, I acquired a leopard print , drawstring, bucket bag. I loved that purse and used it until it wore out. I did not own anything else leopard until I was in my early 30s. I bought a bias-cut midi skirt in a natural colored leopard print. I still own it and wear it. I have a super soft cashmere cardigan in the prettiest warm beige leopard print. it's one of my favorite pieces. I also have a slightly darker beige pullover leopard sweater from Kohl's that I bought maybe 3 or 4 years ago. The one other leopard piece that I own is a pair of pointy toe knit ballet slippers. They are actually more of a cheetah print- i.e., smaller dark spots. Oh! I just remembered that I bought a faux-fur cheetah print jacket at Goodwill late last spring. it hasn't been cold enough for me to wear it yet. The one thing I do not like is colored leopard print. The animals do not sport pink, purple, blue, etc. coats. I only like leopard or cheetah print in natural animal colors.

I’ve already added several of these trends to my wardrobe. I’ve always had cropped blazers and jackets (5’2”) and I had two that I hung onto for many years. I’ve added several over the past few seasons. I’ve added in wide leg jeans (LOVE them) cognac accessories, tripes, open knit sweaters, a close fitting vest, and I’m bringing out a ruby red handbag that was once my mother’s. Going to pass on leopard and longer skirts. Thanks for all the great suggestions.

Hi Kay, my three favorites are leopard prints, sneakers and a pop of red. I have had extensive ankle surgeries and now find shoes very hard to wear so sneakers are great. I even have a leopard print pair that I wore last week for a meal with friends. I also have a very pale complexion but love a red lipstick. It just works. Thanks for all your great advice

I’m mostly a classics girl but I do enjoy a few trends so if I like them I’ll get them. The three trends I’m on board with this fall are: 1. Leopard prints (any animal print) 2. Pops of Red. I’ll even go all red in a monochromatic outfit, including shoes and handbags. 3. Trousers. I like jeans but sometimes I just want to elevate my outfit.

My coworker in her 50's says Leopard is too "old lady" and won't wear it! I'm 67 and I've always loved it. My mother wore it when she was in her 30's ( in the 1960's) and looked very chic!!

Love the cropped jackets (I’m 5’1”) love the pop of red. Just got a pair of red ballet flats and a red handbag this week. Love the button up vests also but will have to try some out first. Trousers have always been in my closet but I do love wearing them with sneakers now. The pink looks pretty on you. Not sure about it with my coloring though.
