Aldi Pumpkin Kit Unboxing and Review

I had never done macrame before, and bought this kit to try it. I was so frustrated when it came to the tapering that I took it apart and started over. I'd read the instructions and watched the video. YT recommended your video, and I watched. Wow! You found the error in both the printed and video instructions and that was exactly where I got hung up! Without prior macrame experience I was just stuck and frustrated. So, THANK YOU so very much for this video!!

Macrame was popular when I went off to college. I made myself a belt, and a couple of plant hangers. I really enjoyed it. This kit is cute. 😊

@@elizabethnt I hadn’t done crochet in a very long time. It was very popular when I was in high school in the 70s. I remember making chokers, an owl hanging, and like you said… Plant hangers. I need to do some more macramé projects. Thanks for watching!

This kit was pretty easy to do. Just a bunch of square knots except for the stem.😎

It's actually not that hard to do, at least this pumpkin was pretty easy. Just a lot of square knots. TFW and commenting.

Didn't see it at my Aldi. That section was pretty cleaned out when I was there. However, I love macrame. I do macrame jewelry every so often.

I’m still confused, am I supposed to cut it when starting? Or keep the string all together? How do we know when to cut? lol sorry

lol... that's ok...The instructions that they have are really confusing. Both the written and video. I had to watch the video several times to come close to understanding what they meant, This was definitely not a beginner project.
