Aldi have massively stepped up on the Vegan train. Always used to get my basics from there but finding myself doing around 50% of my shopping there these days on basics, veg and some of the good Vegan stuff, 10% at Tesco and the rest split between indies (Wholefood and Ethnic stores). And a bit of Heron should a bargain be on.

Yeah two or three years ago it was a place we wouldn't have thought about going to. But now its one of the top choices...but you are so lucky to have Heron (makes up for the cold eh?)

I love these videos so much! I love Aldi so much for getting so many amazing vegan food items in and making it so affordable and more inclusive for everyone. BUT, the Aldi you are in looks amazing and has a proper vegan freezer section where the one I go to is all over the place! That’s the only thing. I hope one day all Aldi stores will have a section for all things vegan! 🍽

This was so interesting to watch and so surprising as well to see just how many different vegan products are in your store!!! Over here in Australia that green vegan range that you kept picking up just doesn't exist here at all, and we literally have vegan sausages, one kind, and vegan burgers, that's it, none of the other meat substitute items that you were showing at all!! None of the plant based dairy things either, or pizzas, cupcakes etc etc, ours is just so incredibly limited in comparison, would absolutely love to go to your store and get to try so many wonderful things! Well done! And the prices too, my goodness, just so completely different where you are!!

Great video. I do most of my shopping at Aldi. So happy that they have so much choice. The chewable Vitamin B12 tastes great and is good value. I really like the new coconut milk (carton), and the vegan cheese and crisps. They just need to sort out a vegan butter/spread

Aldi are doing amazingly at the moment! They're such a godsend; cheap food, and a lot of vegan alternatives! The only thing for me that I think they're missing is milled chia seeds (rather than whole) and red lentils (not sure if these are available in bigger stores). Those are the only two things that I shop elsewhere for, otherwise they have it absolutely nailed!

The sweet potato pakoras are really good, but I've gone off the Aldi pizzas now I've tried the Chicago Town bbq stuffed crust jackfruit. Btw the 30% off stickers tend to get put on the short date stuff but make sure the checkout operator takes it off when they're scanning your shopping.

Great video, I estimated £10 over what it was, I even shop at Aldi now and then so I should know! Loved that lady taking the coleslaw, I really liked it, not as creamy as the m&s one but you can't complain for the price point. Those mallows are amazing, I bought about 10 packs when they were in months ago. Do you really recommend the meat free burgers from Aldi?? I tried the no bull ones, I have loads in my freezer but the beetroot bleeding side of it made me squeamish. As brits, we always have our burgers cooked fully and not like steaks so I don't know why they thought making them with that element would attract us... might just be me haha. Anyhoo, thanks as always for the video :)

I love Veganuary in Aldi - they do loads of great stuff. They still have quite a bit of vegan stuff in all year round, it's just a shame they don't keep stocking up on their vegan range apart from some "specialbuys" or Veganuary. Can't complain though, a lot of it is naughty processed stuff which I normally wouldn't bother with whether I was vegan or not.

I have tried that chocolate too and its yumlicious. Didnt like the earlier chipotle pies, they were very sloppy and thin but havent tried the newer ones. The icecreams are tasty but their magnum clones arent as good as their tubs.

Are you not concerned about the amount of salt and and saturated fat in a lot of these products? I had some great Vegetarian Butcher hotdogs from Tesco last week, but they were over 50% of my RDA for salt and almost 50% of my RDA for fat. With this in mind, these kind of products are not an 'everyday' food due to how unhealthy they would be to have on a regulalr basis with similar products. Wholefoods for the win I'm afraid.

The vegan stuff great here. Also much better than halal slaughter, which is barbaric
@mrittikareza4183 жыл бұрын
@@saywhaaaaat6464 i get that what you are trying to say...Actually we Muslim even have misconception on this and many people dont want to follow this for their profit and we all ignore it...The meat Only become halal if you have raised it properly in their natural habitat (not like those poultry house,,thats prohibited) and only kill them when you need it(mainly for occasion,, and should not be eaten in every meal unless you dont have access to other food..and should be eaten in a small portion..)And when you decide to slaughter a animal you have to do it as quickly as possible.. In a very humane way...but you should not alwys eat meat..Now, what can i say.. We in Muslim country also avoid the fact that what we are eating is not halal by sharia law..if only we raised voice maybe at least in our country we could ban those slaughter and poultry house..😔
