Strangely I was surprised how expensive Aldi looked! Some of the prices were higher than Sainsbury’s. I used to love Aldi but the quality and weight of some of their products changed. I’m back at Sainsbury’s, local shops and markets.

Generally Sainsbury's is more expensive than Aldi but it might be worth a quick look there first before you head over to Aldi. Just yesterday I got a Sainsbury's no waste fruit and veg box for £2 which had; 13 apples, a whole sweetheart cabbage, 2 mangoes, some baby potatoes, 2 red peppers, about a dozen of those little sweet peppers, 2 kiwis, 6 oranges, a good handful of mushrooms, 2 pears, 2 lemons, and some giant spring onions. Absolute bargain, but whether the boxes are available is hit and miss.

That's an amazing price for what you get!!

Here in the US example, our ground beef for one pound 80/20 runs between 8 to 9 dollars where I am from if not on sale. I have heard that some of these companies they are doing an investigation about their prices. Trying to eat healthy has been a struggle for all of us. Hang in there, everyone. Hopefully, it will get better.

if they did home delivery, the prices would be higher, therefore it wouldn't be the cheapest. and also to answer your moving around stuff query, its called a remerch and its usually when a new product comes along or they are just reorganising the merchandising to increase the sales of a particular product or set of products, or they could be adjusting the 'themes' or specific sections of the store like cheeses or slices meats

I’m in Canada and we don’t have Aldi here so it’s always cool to see a grocery store we don’t have. Great job on the spending 💕

You don't have it because of Trudeau politics to save domicile stores which then sell you with high prices

Dates at Aldi in the U.S. really need to be watched. This includes eggs, packaged produce and meats!

Your prices seem so much lower than ours. It was very interesting to see the inside of an audi. There isn't one near me...I think the closest is 450 miles south.

Keep your receipt so that you can take it back, they have no problems with that, I have taken items that have actually been on the last day of the best before but have gone off or mouldy because they should still be eatable on the last day.....just an idea.

Can’t shop for a month including fruit and vegetables because they only last a week if so

They said theyve a £100 budget. That can be divided into a weekly amount to buy fresh weekly

So you save a little $ and restock fruits etc about 10-14 days in.

Thanks looks exactly like ny nearerest. I go to the 2nd nearest as local hardly any reduced 30% off also bogger new build stores if have acces to car are 15mins drive great for no food special. One is next door to home bargains which is lethal. Finding sainsbury cheapest for us rightly now

the stickers are applied 30% for the next days date and 50% for current days date (also 30% if a product is sufficiently damaged but is still sellable) the date checks happen at around 4pm-6pm every day so that's your best time to get discounts. if you go earlier in the morning you'll be more than likely just getting the remnants of the last nights. they would have also worked the delivery of course so there would be more full priced, in date products on the shelves

Probably, but the closest one is over an hour away so it would need to be planned for when I'm already visiting that city - I'll put it on the list though!

Weird question as that aldi looks familiar and is my least fave aldi store. Are Bristol based?

No but it is an older style of aldi 😎

Really disappointed in our local Aldi, its not huge, but very limited choice. Luckily we have a huge Lidl, much more choice and special buys!

Aldi will never do home delivery as it would actually be a loss on profits. Its expensive to finance and the other supermarkers wouldnt do it today if they dodnt already offer it years ago.

Hi friendly warning, can you not walk away from your trolley with your bag on show, walking away from it to look in a freezer is the split second your bag will be robbed. keep it on you at all times.. its very careless off you walking away from it. that's for any one who walks away and leaves their bag in trolley, don't do it.

Why I hate Aldi? There are a lot of reasons. They pay their employees poorly and prevent them from joining unions. The presentation of their goods just looks bad and trashy. But the main reason is: Every vegetable and fruit is wrapped in plastic. But it fits with the consumer behavior of the buyer, who places heavy objects on sensitive tomatoes and otherwise seems to have a rather trashy relationship with food.

Nice to watch your video, but could you please slow down a bit when you talk? You have a tendency to sometimes rush in your speech and talk too fast. Thank you.
