They both spoke good English. It's true that people from the provinces and especially those whose first language is not Tagalog can speak with better pronunciation. His pronunciation is excellent without exaggerating unlike many Filipinos in the US trying so hard like as if they are native speakers of the English language. Kudos to you Aldrich and your cousin. My step-nephew, who is 26, has Hodgkin's lymphoma and is getting ready to have a stem cell procedure. His first round of chemo almost got all of the tumors. As you know, you can't take a chance with lymphoma. Prayers for you and your whole family! Going through this is super traumatic. I can only imagine doing so when you're younger. Although it's been awhile since this happened for you, I know that it still hurts.
