I’m 72 & played in many band as a lead guitarist, it was a little muddy & timing was not perfect, but so is Jimmy Page sometimes, those pull offs & hammer ons sound great on full distortion, but I’m not taking anything away from him gutsy effort getting up in front of all those people. If it’s too loud, you’re too old, rock on.

@@TopWorldTalentHD Yes I was being picky.. the audience loved it & so did he, that’s all that matters .. the older generation were in their early 20’s when Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin & Pink Floyd ruled the airways.

As soon as he did that nonsense with the feedback at the beginning I thought 'oh, you ****'. Anyone Of A Certain Age knew what he was about to get up to! He may not have the speed but he can still wail. And it certainly had the right effect: as soon as one of the judges started to play with her hair after he started shredding I felt my drummer's eyeroll before I even knew I was doing it. F'ing guitarists....god love y'all! Full props to the man - he has waited for a stadium to explode after he played his chops all his life. I'm glad he got it; there's nothing like it :)
