The Yanks made it to the postseason because they had a heathy Jeter, Teixeira and Granderson. Also Sabathia pitched much, much better, and their bullpen was much better. They also had guys like Raul Ibanez hitting 20+ hrs off the bench. It had little to do with Swisher. Swisher is 2-34 and 0 RBI's with RISP in his postseason career. He is the most unclutch player I've ever seen. He also blew a ball, in right field, that cost The Yankees Game 2 of The ALCS. 56 million was way too much.
